I think SBST made a mistake.Originally posted by SBS9818A:Do they mean Tampines Rd?
To serve the late night stream of workers.Originally posted by th1988:Now to West dist
Boon Lay
Generally well linked except to Tampines, Pasir Ris, Sengkang, Punggol, Hougang. But it is better to use the MRT as it is much faster. However, I have some queries
1) Is it possible for 502 to be withdrawn?
2) Why Tibs trunk svs ends at 2400 while 30, 154 ends at 0020?
It's not feasible to have services to the north east or east unless it is an express service. Look at Pasir Ris. There's no direct bus to clementi or even bt merah!Originally posted by th1988:Now to West dist

The service 154 that ends at 0020 could be shortworking trip. Just like service 143, all trips after a certain time will end at Teban Gardens (no suffix service).Originally posted by th1988:Now to West dist

no such thing. if there is it will be displayed in BNL. beside the e-guide states that the last bus of 154 towards eunos at sims ave is around 1.30am.Originally posted by off_service:The service 154 that ends at 0020 could be shortworking trip. Express 502 should be converted to trunk service or integrate with another trunk service.Originally posted by th1988:Now to West dist

From Sep 1999 to Sep 2000, there was Express 505 between Pasir Ris and Bt Merah/HarbourFront.Originally posted by service_238:It's not feasible to have services to the north east or east unless it is an express service. Look at Pasir Ris. There's no direct bus to clementi or even bt merah!
Noted that. I mean currently...Originally posted by tranquilice:From Sep 1999 to Sep 2000, there was Express 505 between Pasir Ris and Bt Merah/HarbourFront.
Unless BNL Int expands by taking up the field next to it, I would say new services there will not happen.Originally posted by service_238:It's not feasible to have services to the north east or east unless it is an express service. Boon lay is already crowded enough. By introducing links to the north east and east from boon lay would make the place MORE crowded.
2 Sv. 98A services to 1 Sv. 98 if I remember correctly.Originally posted by th1988:To Bt Merah there is 198! How many times must I remind?
Jurong East
Small, but well linked as it is sandwiched by Boon Lay and Clementi. Before I forget, how does the 98 altetnative rt works? 1 full trip to 1 SWT?
Xiao di di, I think you should read a post 3 times to say the least. He was talking about Pasir Ris, not Boon Lay. I seriously don't think Service 198 calls at Pasir Ris Interchange.Originally posted by th1988:To Bt Merah there is 198! How many times must I remind?Originally posted by service_238:

No one said that. The only person that said bt merah on this page is me. and i was referring from pasir ris to bt merah. NOT boon lay to bt merah.Originally posted by th1988:Yes but someone was still talking abt BNL to BTM
they are trying to tell you to transfer bus 53 at tampines road. However, I am still not statify with their reply.... cos they stil have not answer my question regarding link between kovan and Hougang Ave 3(after tampines road)Originally posted by tranquilice:However, service 53 does not ply Hougang Ave 3.
However, the 2-1 combination could be possible. I always see more service 98A buses compared to service 98.Originally posted by service_238:No one said that. The only person that said bt merah on this page is me. and i was referring from pasir ris to bt merah. NOT boon lay to bt merah.
Jurong East... not much comments... quite ok to say the least..
98 system - 1 98 to 1 98A on average. if 2 98A to 1 98, 98's frequency would be very long! unless that happens during peak hours, i dont think 2: 1 ratio is present.
The_Bus_Guide: care to help us check out its system?sorry to trouble you if any..
I think you mean service 98 and not 98A. Service 98A loops along Jln Ahmad Ibrahim.Originally posted by off_service:However, the 2-1 combination could be possible. I always see more service 98A buses compared to service 98.
Once service 98A reach Jurong Pier, will it be renumbered to service 98?
SBST may reply this:Originally posted by pkcheah100:they are trying to tell you to transfer bus 53 at tampines road. However, I am still not statify with their reply.... cos they stil have not answer my question regarding link between kovan and Hougang Ave 3(after tampines road)
98A is a loop service. I checked it out last year or 2 years ago by seeing the plate at the bus stop. It loops at jln ahmad ibrahim in exactly the way svc 240 does the loop.Originally posted by tranquilice:I think you mean service 98 and not 98A. Service 98A loops along Jln Ahmad Ibrahim.
However I have seen in-service buses returning to Jurong East interchange displaying desto 98A.
Yap... but what if you are going ParkWay parade, PLAB.... Transfer again.... I guess SBStransit should improve the bus network at Kovan STN.Originally posted by tranquilice:SBST may reply this:
Take service 81 outside Kovan station, alight along Hougang Ave 3 (outside block 1) and transfer to services 25, 51, 55 or 854 to the rest of Hougang Ave 3.
