Probably it will look like (former) 361, which is now known as 941. -

For 941, I will use G/W plates (I think SMRT will not do it). The rt is like a Green Plate only service.

Very poor linkage to city other than 190. I mean look at how SMRT deploy bendies on 190, terrible. SBS did better as it was almost ADDs. (By the way, 190 was FAC in 1997/8 during the major PAC - FAC and FAC to PAC rationlisation)
Also what's the frequency of 985? Seeing brunching buses before.

Don't want to say too much, poor linking network, but adequate as 4 services are needed and there are 3, 62, 82, 83, 136. 84 cannot be counted as it is peak hr sv (In my opinion)
But planning is good as there are no small road at all. But it may face withdrawn when LRT starts running end of this year.
But some services can be introduced
1) To Changi Village/ Beach
2) Ang Mo Kio/ Toa Payoh
3) Bukit Timah
4) Choa Chu Kang/ Bt Panjang
there is no current bus from Punggol to chngi village. however there are plans to reroute ZYX850 along the proposed semi expressway 9admilraty?) that will cut through Punggol and since the current ZYX850 goes PSR. it will fulfil part 1
now ZYX136 goes to AMK. to TPY one cd take ZYX163. but ZYX153 is faster (note that ZYX buses and SBS or TIBS buses are very close matches)
now to Bt timah. thats a bit way far. but at sengkang there is ZYX888 to Bt panjang where u cd take ZYX171 to Bt Timah.or if lower part of Bt timah got the ZYX153
and ZYX888 goes to bt panjang / Choa chu akng but u have to takea bus to SK and transfer onto 888.
meanwhile in punggol :
FROM INTERCHANGE
ZYX62: same as SBS. brings one to NBR not geylang lor 1 . though
ZYX84 to WTC via tampines, Bedok, Marine parade
ZYX163 to TOA PAYH via upp thomson road
ZYX153 to BT MERAH via SK, Hougang, Toa payoh, bt timah road, queensway
ZYX3 to TAMPINEs via pasir ris, tampines
ZYX373 - inter town service, goes by way of the SBSt84's route.
note SBS83 is integrated into ZYX153 in 2002.
ZYX103 to NBR via Jln kayu camp, YCK road, Serangoon road, Chinatown
passing by the interchange
ZYX82 brings one to Shenton way via SK, hg ave 10, Serangoon MRT, Lavender st, lavender MRT, Kakkang ind park, beach road
and that is my ":town paln " for punggol now. notice that we got the city well covered. except rochard road. there are plans for ZYX85 to extend to Punggol new town.
this should take place in 2004 june or so once the population builds up.

via NE line follow , Orchard road, tiong bahru, lower delta road
more services will be added.
