Which services have used demo buses?

  Demonstrator (demo) buses are one of a kind. They were either bought by SBS or sent by the manufacturer for evaluation purposes. Some have gone, some still survive while others were in SIngapore for a brief period. Here a some that I have recalled and the services which they used to run on.

  I also remembered the Volvo B55 on Service 2 as well as Service 31, an indication it was with BNDEP alongside the Scania DD. However, I vaguely remember there is one unique DD on Service 31. The bus sounds like the MBO305 and had windows similar to the Willowbrooke-bodied MBO305. Is there the possibility the bus was with BNDEP before being transferred to AMDEP? If my memory serves me right, I took it in 1989/1990.

  TIB1024, Volgren MB0405G. Served on plenty of svcs
  TIB905Y, Hino H3KRKA. seemed to be slacking in KJ recently. It was first out in service on svc804 for at least 2 months.

  i remember a DD tat has it rego as SBS2541, the lone rego in the whole 25XX region.. i sat it before and it's a Merc O305.. anything special about this bus?

  There's nothing special about it I'm afraid. A segment of the MB O305 rego list stretches from 2477X - 2592X. According to my list however, 2479R and 2480K were not assigned. Were these 2 regos ever used on other buses?

  Hino served on Svc 171, 806 and 854 before, AFAIK.
  
  838H first served on Svc 171.. I was the first passenger to board its maiden trip departing Yishun Int at 10am then when I was a still young..

  Don't forget tt 905Y also gave me a nice surprise last year when it decided to go on my svc 852!!!
  
  905Y had also served on the former svc 804A ( current 806 ) route b4.

  Happened at least once last year. 9810X, if it did go to other services, would only operate on YCK Int-based serviced. However on 4th Feb it went on Sv. 88
