4) 36 goes to Tomlinson Road from Changi Airport PTB2, not Bukit Merah. 16 goes from Bukit Merah to Siglap Road (loop). 36 has been a regular service ever since they amended the number from 16E, definitely not a peak service. They are not duplicate services either. 10) 3 mins only complain so much. Please lah, they have a schedule (and it's spelt schedule not whatever way you want to spell it. Please spell it the British way or you are going to fail your exams) but they need not necessarily stick to the schedule so strictly. It could be your watch is not synchronised with the schedule in the first place. -

125 has ETA plates. So it is easy to catch. Also at around 1805, 2 trip comes from nowhere brunched up.
As for sechulde, does anyone have the correct spelling.
As for my phone, used to it, exactly 1 min faster than the time on the bus. -
Yah, I know they have ETA plates. But what I am saying is that they do not have to follow strictly to the ETA plates. They may arrive a few minutes late or early and I think that's pretty fine, as long as they don't exceed like half a hour. Also, I am saying your watch is not necessarily adjusted to fit the bus system time. It may be 3 minutes faster than your watch. Since you do not know the right spelling, don't go around correcting everyone else's English, acting as if everyone must listen to you. Yes. The route is Tampines - New Bridge Rd, following service 10 route to Upp Changi Rd/Bedok Rd, then follow service 2 route to New Bridge Rd.

Service 16 "originally" operated between Bt Merah and Marine Parade. In 1993, services 31 (Tampines - Stadium Blvd) and 149 (Toa Payoh - Changi Airport) were merged. As a result, service 16 was extended to the airport to cover service 149 route from Marine Parade to the airport. Service 390 (Changi Airport - Tomlinson Rd) was withdrawn with service 16 as the alternative service. However, soon, service 390 passengers were complaining that with the amendment, they had to take service 16 to the airport which resulted in a longer travelling time. The press published the complaint and this "forced" SBST to introduce one-directional-peak-hours service 16E (Semi-express between Bt Merah - Changi Airport) not long after, which plied express along ECP, Rochor Rd/Ophir Rd, Beach Rd between the airport and City Hall MRT. In Dec 1997, service 16E was re-numbered service 36 with route and operating hours un-changed. I remembered taking service 95 between Toa Payoh and Clementi back in the 1980s. This stretch of the route is the same as service 105 pre-1993 version.
