But this depends whether is it possible as I'm considering having 89A. If extend svc 35, you can also relieve the jammed packed svc 19 during peak hrs, when every trip during the peak has people standing to the door. -

Well, if you're want such a rapid service, you're should be to SBS stating for a new service to CACC via Changi Coast Rd. By making a 35A, they will not agree to it as it clashes with the short working trip prefixes

2 Our planners had reviewed on your suggestion and have since
reverted on their findings.
3 The suggested diversion will mean affecting existing passengers
along the sector of Queensway between Alexandra Rd and Commonwealth Ave.
Another group of passengers would have to incur additional journey
time
and fares. Hence the suggestion is not supported.

Well, if you're want such a rapid service, you're should be to SBS stating for a new service to CACC via Changi Coast Rd. By making a 35A, they will not agree to it as it clashes with the short working trip prefixes

It is their problem that they bo chap. For service amendment and rationalisation, posters are put up at the bus stops but only some bother to take a look at them. Service 198 used to ply C'wealth Ave between Queensway and Alexandra Rd. So amending service 198 to re-ply this stretch of C'wealth Ave is easier than service 196. However, to SBST, it may seems no difference. -

Cannot, 35A is a short working trip along its rt (Defination)... 98A is rather a short working trip because it goes back half way along its journey. How abt making 157 and 157A, 157 goes Boon Lay its own rt and 157A goes Jurong East? Referring to your "One go one place another one go another.", might as well ask SBST to renumber service 103W since service 103 goes one place (east camp) while service 103W goes another place (west camp). -

Well, 103 is sort of a dif case. It was 214E and 214W in the 80's. East and West, they just follow till today. -

I'm not sure about SBS, but SMRT can make 855 serve Ikea if SBS refuse to amend 196 or 198. Queensway between Bt Merah & C'wealth Ave has too much duplication.Originally posted by listar:hi all guys

More buses to Golden Mile other than 100. 123 is a good choice. 36 can cover Bt Merah-Orchard sector.
18+7 to free up parking space @ BDK.
Place better buses in the West. CLE has lotsa lousy buses (Mk II/III, LO3X, MB O405 WA/DM).
Make VSO serve on 166, reinstate Trident on 147 & 165, trash the Mk IIs & bring the CRBs to take their place.
(The list is endless) -

CLE actually does not have much LO3x, only that of svc 166. It has tons of VO3x from svc 99, 147, 165, 7, 196, 14, etc etc. It also has alot of Striders, which are quite ok buses.
