A NAC Scania was doing some training around the Serangoon Area.
A VO with one of those milk ads (Red colored) changing service near Serangoon.
3 VSOs spotted on Service 168, on Tampines Ave 7/10 going towards Bedok.
Service 27 had a lot of MK3s. I thought they mostly had MK4s?

TIB 983 X has seem to be permanent on Sv 106. SBS 1705 U on Sv 78 SBS 310 G, the National Heritage Bus, was spotted parking at Serangoon Interchange. SBS 490 U on Sv 317, instead of Sv 315. Buses of both 317 and 315 is always interchangeable. SBS 9820 S on Sv 143 SBS 3796 A on Sv 70

One 170 MKIII at Larkin had its rego with the new font.. A look from far away, it does not look any difference but if you stare at it, you can recognise the difference.. The format is still the same, i.e. destinations in CAPS and 170 in the centre, and the new font's CAPS are quite close to the old font's CAPS, as you can verify on VSO big destos on 161, 168 etc.. I think they made it as close as possible to the old 170 rego..
Also, I noticed that the time display on the BEP and BXP readers does not update until someone taps it (RIDE SUSPENDED or EXIT OK).. this was noted on the way down from Larkin Ter to Johor Checkpoint, as the driver activated the "EXIT CHECKPOINT" mode just after he left Larkin and there was ample time to observe..
Also, one of the drivers actually turns left and uses the side road along Jln Tun Abdul Razak before turning into the main road on his way from Larkin to Johor Checkpoint while the rest of them does the three long loops around the flyover.. I wonder if they are allowed to do that, but it does save quite a bit of time.. -

Hey! I'm a newbie here but have been reading many of the threads. Decided to post something here.
Last year, the day when George W. Bush came to SG via Paya Lebar Military Airport, i was on 27 heading towards Sengkang on TPE. They blocked the whole expressway heading towards Sengkang and rerouted every vehicle to Lor Halus flyover. My bus included. And they also closed Tampines Road as well. So my bus was stuck at the exit of the eway for approx. 45 min.
After that, since the bus was out of route, it went straight to HG Central Interchange. On the way, at Tampines Road, i saw 6 72s all heading towards Tampines. Guess they were stuck as well. Plenty of 81s and 53s as well. Quite a rarity to suddenly see so many operating buses all at once.
Also noticed about 3 72s stuck in Old Tampines Road.
At the interchange, the driver told the pax who were supposed to go Sengkang to remain on board. It continued the usual route back and i saw 4 27s, 3 being 5% full, heading back to HG.
In the end, i realised my bus was the only 27 that got rerouted and i was late by 1 and a half hours. Quite an interesting sight for me. Just sharing.

Unidentifed MB405 (Square looking ones) with a Discovery Channel: Nefertiti full body ad on Service 21 at 7am on Tampines Ave 7 going towards St. Michael's Term.
MK3 SBS819G on Service 29 (not bad...two buses that are not Scanias on 29 in two days) turning off Old Tampines Road at Loyang Ave going towards Tampines Int at about 1:15pm.
