Normal for buses going back to depot(unless, you don't go to TIBS terrority too much)Originally posted by delonchew:24/2/2004 Spotting
TIB430A on 962. After the trip (which I was on) ended at Woodlands Interchange at 19 20, the EDS on the front and side showed "WOODLANDS DEPOT".
Is it a loud sound like the engine is speeding but the bus is at still? If it is, the bus is revving, I dunno what it means.Originally posted by tranquilice:Fri 27 Feb
309L of service 334 has strange sound from the engine when picking up passengers at the interchange.
In case you don't know, we central people have to squeeze on 56 sometimes even on VSOs. Iyts quite a short rtoute serving the most important areas in Singapore and many students rely on that either as a trunk route or feeder routeOriginally posted by leeJZ:MB O405 SBS 194 A doing Sv 26 (Ex Sv 53, had old purple Sv 53 bus guides on bus)
Why some of Sv 88's ADDs not painted red/purple on the front?
VSOs on Sv 56? That high demand? I took it today (MB O405 with 7 eleven ad) and demand was not too high...
I was waiting for Sv 88 at TPY Interchange. There were two ADDs there. When I was boarding one of them, I saw two drivers and this guy going on the other bus...
Why are Sv 157's buses parked at the TPY Feeder area?
Yes. they loop at Toa Payoh int, although somedrivers park there if their time diferences between their timesheet and their time then is quite long(about 5mins or more, same to 73). The only thing diferent from 73 is that they start a new direction even if they loop. This looping thing has started since before TIBS took over 163 (I think).Originally posted by tranquilice:You mean all service 163 buses park at Sengkang interchange? Sengkang interchange is already so small.

Wonder why it's not the other way round since Toa Payoh has more parking space than Sengkang.Originally posted by Scania:Yes. they loop at Toa Payoh int, although somedrivers park there if their time diferences between their timesheet and their time then is quite long(about 5mins or more, same to 73). It isn't about the EDS. I am surprised that a 12m bus has been deployed on 962 during evening peak. The day before, TIB971E was deployed.Originally posted by Scania:Normal for buses going back to depot(unless, you don't go to TIBS terrority too much)

Because of the AA 2004 I guess.Originally posted by tranquilice:Why the weird deployment?
It is rather normal here. You see, sometimes I do not know if it's due to shortage of buses, services with lots of Bendies will have 12m buses as replacements. Sometimes 859 can have 3 bendies and 1 12m bus, or even with 3 buses only.Originally posted by delonchew:It isn't about the EDS. As Sv. 88 IC I would like to clarify 9618K has been repainted.Originally posted by Scania:Summary of 88 "special" DD:

9630Z, first bus to have a top windscreen ad, famliy matters, while its body aint advertised.
9613Z,9617M,9618K,9619H,9632T,9637E,9638C(all with unpainted fronts)
All of the above are normal to me, just that bram is saving money on paint.
157 is supposed to be placed in the trunk area of TPY int, but at the last minute before the opening of the new aircon interchange, they found out that there was no space, so they placed it at the feeder side.
73 and 163 buses don't park in TPY int, they loop, 73 count it as a loop service, but 163 starts it as another direction from Toa Payoh.
Is this possible? 252 is NACOriginally posted by Superbus:Fellow member, carbikebus, spotted a Mark 5 on Service 252.
Cheers and warm regards
Why not? They can use it for trial basis or when they do not have enough buses. Service 252 uses single deckers.Originally posted by th1988:Is this possible? 252 is NAC
252 uses SD? No more DD? Because 252 demand is v highOriginally posted by off_service:Why not? They can use it for trial basis or when they do not have enough buses. Service 252 uses single deckers.
