As for Toa Payoh, I feel there is too much 'wasted' space inside. The other interchanges are always crowded with narrow walkways, but TPY has this large spacious space inside. They should have made the aircon section smaller and put more bus lots instead. Or they should have made a common parking area like all the other interchanges (not only for feeders) as those are the most efficient.
Now TPY is among the 5 'no more space left' interchanges - the other three are Boon Lay, Clementi, Bedok, and Sengkang... -

Those tridents will the most only live on 89 as long as the time Tridents lived on 153.

Wait a minute! It's not a matter of poor planning, but also a matter of space constraints!
