Today, at about 1345 hrs, the bus i was on, TIB 567 P on sv 167 crashed into a taxi. Along Orchard Rd where there are many traffic, a taxi cut into the lane this bus was on and the bus captain slammed on the brakes. It was too late. We hit the back of the taxi. Miraculously, there were no damage done, just scratches and both parties apologised and drove off. The passengers, including me, were shaken and shocked. luckily no one was hurt. Bus captain: K S Ang. -

SBS 0264 G of 334 had some aircon problems at around 1400 hrs @JUR. Mechanic checked the bus and the engine compartment was open.
Bus was then taken off service. -
SBS 0527 Z of 105 broke down @ C'wealth Ave (Blk 43) eastward @1715 hrs.
This bus was behind schedule by 4 min while its next bus, SBS 2751 D, was ahead by 3 min.
The next bus after that SBS 0544 Z, was on schedule but was delayed due to the brunching of SBS 2751 D and SBS 0527 Z earlier. With the breakdown, it gets worse.
SBS 0101 T (split shift, replacing SBS 2770 Z), the bus after SBS 0544 Z came soon after (abt 3 min later) followed by the notorious chaser SBS 2689 B a minute behind. -

SBS 9803 S Breakdown
Both of these were on sv 28. they were parked in the boarding berths. 9803 was first checked by a technician then driven away. 9802 was later checked then driven to a corner of the TP int and parked there. Waited 15 mins for SBS 723 Z. -
an unidentified SMRT L113CRL along upp thomson rd broke down. Opp thomson CC.

A VSO from 31 broke down at Fare Stage 4 on Friday at around 1600+.

SBS9424C broke down for ? reason at Sengkang before TPE on 10/9 while serving 88. Was back the next day.

VOs are very problematic. Every time break down. Even had 9227E bellowing smoke along AMK Ave 3 four months ago, I was on the bus.

you cant see internal injuries, so how can you treat them? remedial action can be taken if need be.
i see that SMM's standard of training has gone down. -
9332J broke down on 14/9 opp Monfort Sec at Hg Ave 8 at 1800hrs. Was towed off at 2200hrs, by a big tow truck flanked by a small one.

Hmm, VO3X falling apart. it's been ten years since the first VO3X rolled onto the roads.
I will cry hard when the CRBs disappear. I will cry harder when the VO3X disappear. I will cry hardest when the Habit bendies disappear. -
See? VO3x has alot of probs. Just aft i said it, another has broken down. Anyway, VO3x is the second best DD to me. Best is Dennis Trident. But i will still cry when they disappear. CRBs are very special to me too. And as for habits, they are the best SMRT buses ever put into service.

In Clementi, you can see all the worst SBST buses. LO3X, Mk 2 & 3, MB O405 WA/DM all make me puke. Mk 4 is just OK. I daresay Boon Lay has probably the worst buses. TPY feeders have CRBs deployed. Also, I have seen one CRB after another @ BDK central. At least now 9888 followed 154 from HGDEP to BRAM. I can see VSO pass by my window. Now hoping the Tridents make a comeback on 147. -

2. I think u are referring to AMK in particular. BSH has a couple or 2 LO3x and the rest are merz.
3. 293 358 have about 50-50 share in the mk3 scania fleet. 359 has about 70-30 of mk3s.
