SBS 9817C of Sv. 56 almost collided into a car along Victoria St, 1040 hrs. One female pax injured.
SBS 488C of Sv. 105 has problems engaging third gear. -
Scania CAC SBS 3667H of Sv 3 broke down at the (Opp Blk 149A) bus stop on Loyang Ave at about 1:45pm, its load was relatively high, 100% sitting with a few standing that it overloaded the next two buses (Sv 19 & Sv 9) that came along.
VO 3-Axle SBS 9296E of Sv 9 was parked near the bus stop outside Bedok Interchange at about 4:30pm with its parking signal flashing and engine running, the driver was sitting on one of the pax seats...hmm... -

Here's what happened:
SBS 9817 C of Svc 56 nearly had an head-on collision with a car at the junction of Victoria St and Middle Rd @1039 hrs. The car driver was cutting into the driver's lane without signalling at all. Hence, being vv near to the car, the bus driver had to brake suddenly.
As a result, a lady in her late 50s to early 60s sitting behind the rear door had nose bleed and her knee fractured. The bus stopped at the next bus stop (Bef Beach Rd) to alight the passengers. The lady stayed in the bus until paramedics came at around 1100. Seems like SBS 9817 C had to start from another place on its trip back to BSH as he was late to start his trip from Marina Ctr @1059 hrs.
Note: 9817C was still at the bus stop @1110.
And that's the reason why we wait vv long for the bus sometimes... -

SBS 9051U broke down along Braddell Rd 6.15pm, os Bishan Blk 147 stop. -
I forgot the reg, but one of Sv 28's MK4 Striders has screeching brakes and the speeding bell (one that is supposed to sound at 60 kph) keeps going off, especially when the driver is braking...

TIB754R got into an accident along BKE, just after the Mandai Road flyover. When I passed by at 5pm, the bus was already parked at the side of the expressway, together with a petrol trailer. I supposed the bus had crashed into the trailer because the LHF of the bus was crushed. LHS headlights totally smashed and that part dented inwards.

Seems like the Tridents are lacking maintainence lately, as a notable amount of Tridents are seen breaking down by bus fans.

Yeah. In fact, the problem has been there since 2 months ago. I always take 9194R and it sounds as if it cannot go beyond 2nd gear. Similar problem as SBS 9615 T. The bus always crawled up the slope towards WRI on TPE to SLE. The speed could be < 5km/h.Originally posted by delonchew:Yeah.
