SBS 488C of Sv. 105 also has such a problem. I was at home then I heard this loud bang at around 10:50pm. At the window I saw a CAC DM merz, which was 3921Z (which was the only merz cameo on 238 on Saturday ;and also tryiing to turn into the small road linking Lor 8 TPY and Braddell) and a motorbike(which was turing from the small road to Lor 8 TPY), yes F1 motorbike. The motorcyclist was injured and shouting in pain. At around 11.00, the ambluance(and sent the motorcyclist) and police came and of coruse the SBS Transh*t pick up. At 11.20pm, the bus was moved to outside the gate of the Braddell Primrary School(closed pernamently) and police questioned the bus driver. At 1:28am, 3921Z was realesed and it and the pickup went back to bram/amdep. At 1:49am the motorbike was taken away and the last police car left. -

TIB773 on 851 broke down yesterday along Ang Mo Kio ave 6, opp Yio Chu Kang MRT at 5+pm. The driver released the parking brake only to hear a loud bang at the rear, and the next thing was that black engine oil was spilled all over the place,

I was on SBS9227E today when the passengers smelt something burning and alerted the driver. When we alighted, there were smoke bellowing from the back.

Scania OAC (SBS 75K) of Sv 19 broke down on Loyang Ave, Blk 149A bus stop, at about 3:15pm. Driver was sitting in the bus stop and looked like the bus had been there for quite a while.

SBS1928 bites taxi along queensway . taxi overtook bus trying to turn into stirling road south. but instead bus bites taxi. ouch
no oen hurt. just a lot of prides hurt.

A service 188 MB 0405 was involved in a fatal accident with a motorbike along Pasir Panjang Rd near Haw Par Villa on Wed 31 March at 5.48pm.

SBS9629D of 168: Engine compartment caught fire upon reaching boarding bay of Bedok Interchange at 1705h. A burning engine smells terrible.
Replacement bus SBS9615T arrived at 1710h. Bus ride to Woodlands was uneventful except for 2 separate accidents along SLE. -

9615T also seems to have faulty gearbox. -

9615T also seems to have faulty gearbox.
I did not detect any gearbox problem on SBS9615T. It was a smooth and hi-speed ride on a wet and rainy day.
