SBS3674L of Service 28 broke down at Bedok MRT bus stop enroute to Tampines Interchange.

Service 67, TIB580, towards Tampines hit with a SBS Transit Bus 157. The SBST bus is in the old SBS livery and number of the bus is not mentioned.
The passengers were not hurt. This accident happened at Upper Bt Timah Rd -

An Unidentified sv 67 Habit breakdown exactly at Sims Ave(Opp Geylang serai) at 16.50hr.Couldn't catch the rego as i was driving in the middle lane to home.

TIB 1198P has its front changed (new ugly registration plate, MB and Hispano logos absent). Probably met some accident.

The engineers seem to have modified the gearbox on a significant number of ZF based 0405Gs, the effect is a "swing" during the first gear.
I suspect gearbox damage on TIB 1112L-1114G and 1169Z. Quite shocking for 1169Z because it is a relatively new bus.
Usual symptoms are retarded switching of gears, and the whole bus just seem slower.
Why do ZF gearboxes get this problem, when the Voiths don't? -
SBS0848Y (31) was involved in an accident along Simei Avenue in the direction towards Tampines (near the entrance into PIE) at around 11.40am. The other vehicles involved in the accident were a Comfort taxi, a Honda Odyssey and a white small lorry. From the looks of it, the bus hit the rear of the taxi, causing the taxi to swerve around (because the taxi was perpendicular to the road) and then hit the Honda Odyssey which in turn surged forward and hit the lorry.

As reported in today Shin Min Daily News (Chinese newspaper), TIB 499 C of service 171 was involved in a fatal accident yesterday (09 May) morning at 7am along Bt Timah Rd near Kheam Hock Rd. The bus crashed with a motorcycle and the motorcyclist died on the spot. The tibs driver was arrested by TP for reckless driving.

Five injured when van collides with bus at Toa Payoh
SINGAPORE : Five people were injured when a van collided with an SBS bus on Sunday night.
Three of them were in the van, while the other 2 were bus passengers.
All were rushed to the Tan Tock Seng Hospital following the accident which happened at the junction of Toa Payoh Lorong 2 and Lorong 3 at 11:20pm.
Eyewitnesses who called the Channel NewsAsia hotline said Civil Defence officers had to extricate the front seat passenger from the van.
Police say the driver and passengers of the van, all in their 20s, suffered hand, leg and facial injuries.
The 2 bus passengers sustained leg injuries. - CNA

I have an external source that on Monday, 10th May 2004, SBS 0212 G broke down along Lor 4 Toa Payoh near Chung Hwa Free Clinic @1615 hrs.
