Accidents and break down thread

whoa.. 2 incident today
2nd June 2004:
SBS 0931P of 27 had its rear engine overheated at Tampines Ave 10 (Aft TPE) towards CGA @0935 hrs. Passengers were seen at the bus stop waiting for the next bus.
One hour later @1030 hrs, the passengers were gone, the heat had subsided, but the bus and the driver were still there.
One hour later @1140 hrs, the driver and the bus disappeared.
TIB 0747 L of 969 had a dead Battery Box at Yishun Ave 2 (Opp Yishun MRT) @1410hrs. SMRT mechanics were there to assess the situation.

Forgot to post this yesterday
SBS2730 on svc 36 was taken off service at Changi Airport PTB2 after it got foreign object damage along ECP. It was raining very heavily at that time when a few rocks dropped from a truck in front and the poor bus had the misfortune of speeding over it, generating lift that dented the intercooler and jammed the rear brakes. A vey loud thump was heard.
Kudos to the driver for driving as he could control the bus and coaxed it into PTB2 so that the pax do not need to transfer in the heavy downpour. In fact, the grinding and screeching of the rear wheels was so audible that 2 guys in green was on hand to greet the bus when it pulled into its berth at PTB2. ( and i had a severe ear ache, but was interesting ) -

the SBS 0931 P that has smoke emiiting from the rear could be the brake. It was fine and healthy at Hougang yesterday

TIB 920 on Sv 171 broke down at Jelebu Road (opp Bt Panjang Plaza). Front door having problems as a SMRT technician was opening the ducting above the door.

On another note, 9843B on 161 broke down at WRI just now, around 0950. The tow vehicle was sent in at 1120 hours. -
