The NEL/NSL needs a connection to the other side of the NSL (CCK, BBT side), so how about the following -
Reroute Sv 854 -
Bedok Interchange - New Upp Changi Rd - Changi Rd - Jln Eunos - Eunos Link - Hougang Ave 3 - Hougang Ave 2 - Ang Mo Kio Ave 3 - Ang Mo Kio Ave 6 - Lentor Ave - SLE - BKE - KJE - Choa Chu Kang Way - Choa Chu Kang Rd - Upp Bukit Timah Rd -Petir Rd - Bukit Panjang Interchange
With that, there can be fast links between Hougang/Ang Mo Kio/Bedok & Choa Chu Kang/Bukit Panjang. Perhaps Sv 25 can be withdrawn or amended like this?
Bedok Interchange - New Upp Changi Rd - Changi Rd - Jln Eunos - Eunos Link - Airport Rd - MacPherson Rd - Bendemeer Rd - Whampoa North - Serangoon Rd - Jln Toa Payoh - Toa Payoh Lor 6 - Braddell Rd - Bishan Rd - Ang Mo Kio Ave 6 - Ang Mo Kio Temp Interchange

Yupz u got it. 'DBS' 989 actually kinda follow the MRT track from Jurong East all the way to Bt. Gombak, then turn onto Bt Batok rd where it heads straight for the Bt Panjang E'way exit.Originally posted by xin1jun2:i think the best thing to do is extend the 985 back to the airport. meawhile regarding your service...maybe the winding route thru bt batok is long. ask the bus go along bt batok rd all the way and head for the exprssways.?
at any rate ZYX979 is like TIBS 989. we would like to thanks TIBS for handing the service over to ZYXbus =P

1. As I suggested, why not amend Sv 25 or Sv 854 instead? Both duplicate each other alot so it would be good to extend one of them to Bukit Panjang.Originally posted by off_service:A new travel experience... Linking the North West towns to Central Singapore.
Fast, Safe (Save) Convenient or FSC Bus Company will introduce 2 services linking North West towns to Central towns.

Ang Mo Kio Ave 6 (Yio Chu Kang MRT)
Ang Mo Kio Ave 8 (Ang Mo Kio MRT)

Your comments on the services are welcomed.
1. The routes would simply be too long. Besides, my aim is to link Central to NW to provide competition to the MRT.Originally posted by leeJZ:1. As I suggested, why not amend Sv 25 or Sv 854 instead? Both duplicate each other alot so it would be good to extend one of them to Bukit Panjang.
2. Maybe an extension to Changi Airport would be good?

Hmm, this calls for a review of future Citaros acquisition. The current batch of 21 OC500LFA artics have been certified safe after an overhaul.Originally posted by xin1jun2:for those who have citaros in their fantasy bus fleets:

Note that LeeJZ's suggestion to service 854 does not ply Yishun at all.Originally posted by alantanchunshyan:there is 171 from yishun to bt panjang.how about planning it to choa chu kang instead.just my suggestion.![]()
Don't merge, allow 171 to go into the city.Originally posted by tranquilice:Note that LeeJZ's suggestion to service 854 does not ply Yishun at all.
I suggest to let service 171 terminate at Bt Panjang instead of Yishun. Service 172 and service 171 (between Bt Panjang and Yishun) be integrated to become Yishun - Boon Lay service.
