For 1st paragraph, I suggest service 167 to be amended, via Yishun Ave 7, Ave 2, Ave 3 and continue with current route. For 2nd paragraph, the link will be covered by the new service integrated from service 172 and part of service 171. (between Bt Panjang and Yishun) Amended service 171 will operate between Bt Panjang and Marina Centre only. -

In the case of this combined 111 + 502, it will skip 2 pairs of bus stops along Napier Road in both directions.
In the direction to Suntec, it is Red Plate and stops at Ghim Moh Terminal and south bound Ghim Moh Road.
It uses White Plate in the direction to Boon Lay and stops only on the north bound Ghim Moh Road and alighting only at Ghim Moh Terminal.
Services 74, 99 and 105 are used as precedents for fare stage calculations. I've assumed 0.5 fare stage between Clementi Avenue 2 and Clementi Road in both directions as there is no precedent set.

White Plate: Missed out the stop outside Blk 12 @GHM Rd. Another skipping?
How abt using the red and white plate to the advantage i.e call the GHM bus stops in both directions?

Initially, I wanted to call at both bus stops, but I felt that Ghim Moh Road is so narrow (you can just jaywalk across), that there was no real need to call at both sides in any direction.
But since both sides are of the same fare-stage, it makes no difference to the commuter which bus stop he boards from, so that can always be changed. -

If that's was to integrate both SBST502 and SBST111, then I would prefer to leave them as they were. At least I still have accessed to SBST502 at Holland Village. -
You had removed the stops os/opp Holland Village for too . Prior the cutbacks to Suntec, I had requested for SBST502 to stop at HV for better connections between Holland V and Sengkang and Holland V and Boon Lay. Here's another of my fantasy routes - a combination of 97 and 507.
As far as I have checked, this combination does not skip any bus stops served by current 97 and 507 except for AYE between Clementi Road and Buona Vista Flyover and Cecil St (plies via parallel Robinsons Road)
The bus also skips the bus stop opposite The Oriental Singapore to stop at Marina Centre terminal for a driver change of shift. No boarding and alighting allowed here. It will stop at Marina Promenade Park, though.
I have also amended 97 to ply Kent Ridge Cres and Lower Kent Ridge Road in both directions to provide lazy buggers like me a convenient link between School of Computing and HarbourFront.

ZYX90 will be withdrawn as service 8 duplicates a part of its route. now the new ZYX142 will link airport staff at PLAB to both toa payoh and the NEL effectively from Apr 24, 2004.

Scania N113CRB: CBS 3600 A - CBS 3649 K (50 units) from SBST. All NAC ones will be retrofitted with an aircon unit and will also be equipped with EDS. So far, the first 10 units have been retrofitted, just in time for the introduction of CBS22.

ZYX northern bus rationalisation excercise
ZYX88 will be integrated with ZYX238 wef APR 24, 2004
ZYX88 will be amended within TPY new town following the exact route of 238. once turns out to braddell road it goes to the orginal 88 all the way to Pasir ris.
and on the return route, the bus 88 will go into toa payoh by way of 238's former route.
with the chnage ZYX88 will be turned into a HYBRID service. charging flat fare between braddell road and TPY and normal DRFbetween PSR and toa payoh
ZYX88 will then be taking in the habit fleet of 238 along with the current fleet of tridents, Mercs, Scania L94Ubs, Vo3x. Residents along lor 8 will enjoy a more variety of buses to take. =)
the frequency of ZYX88 will be unchaged at 4-6 mins. hence during peak hours a short working trip ZYX88=238 will be introduced (keeping the number 238 alive =P),. the short working trip will be officially called 88C however.
88C (ZYX88-238 will run on the former 238 route entirely)
