OK, TL Corp shall undergo a makeover a la SPRING Singapore and International Enterprise. Its successor body will be called SingaTrans but its function remains the same - the Republic's master operator of public transport (Bus & Rail services). Its new motto will be "We serve with pride". The changes take effect on 12 February 2006.

Hallo... I'm kinda pissed off that there's no straight bus goin to town area from Woodlands. Imagine taking 961 from Woodlands to City Hall! Your butt will sweat man
And some more 960 only pass thru sungei road and bugis only. To go back to Woodlands from town, u have to compete with ppl from Bishan, Toa Payoh and so on to get a place in the train. And now i wanna propose a no-nonsense bus service connecting Woodlands - Old Marsiling Est - City hall -Suntec city - Marine Parade and vice versa. And also to compete with 966. Hopefully, the bus service will be the same company as 161 and 168.. 
I call it CBST 71. Here goes.
Woodlands Square - Woodlands Ave 5 - Marsiling Rise - Marsiling Rd - Marsiling Drive - Admiralty Rd - Woodlands Centre Rd - express thru BKE, PIE, Whitley Rd and Dunearn Rd - Bt Timah Rd - Bencoolen St - Bras Basah Rd - Raffles Boulevard - Temasek Boulevard - Temasek Avenue - express thru Raffles Boulevard, Republic Boulevard, ECP, Mountbatten Rd and Amber Rd and terminate at Marine Parade Rd (opp Parkway Parade).

NEL Fallout: Increased duplication along the routes of 77, 106, 174.
Loss of Beach Rd svcs (we've already lost 20, 50, 209 & what else).
Exp 502 becomes somewhat meaningless (it doesn't use the e'way anymore). -

CBSBus Updates
CBS will now officially unveil the CBS Tampines Bus Plan. Services with majority or all of its fleet based in BNDEP will be numbered as 3x and 4x from Tampines. All of these services will be launched by me at Tampines Interchange @0900 hrs on Sunday 11th April 2004.
This was supposed to happen last week but there was a late delivery in the buses that I ordered.

Why won't you terminate CBS30 to Buona Vista? Via the following route:
..Alexandra Road (Alexandra Hospital), Alexandra Road (Ikea), COmmowealth Ave (Queenstown MRT), Queensway, Holland Road, Holland Ave, Holland Drive, Buona Vista Terminal
It's a big loop if you terminate at Bukit Merah. -

Note: CBS45 will start on Monday 12th Apr.
On this note, CBS is proud to announce the opening of Bishan Depot (BSDEP). This Depot is located just next to Bishan Int, opposite ITE Bishan & Bishan Sports Complex. CBS' HQ operations will be moved there from BNDEP progressively from 15th Apr 2004 to 25th Apr 2004.
As Sengkang Depot isnt ready yet, CBS43, which was supposed to be operated by 2 depots, will be under BNDEP only until SKDEP is ready by mid-May.
As Yishun Bus Park isnt ready yet, CBS31, which was supposed to be operated by 2 depots, will be under BNDEP & BSDEP until YIBP is ready by mid-May.

Extension of Service 82 to Bishan Interchange via Upper Serangoon Rd, Braddell Rd, Bishan Rd, St 11, St 13, and Interchange.
Geylang New Town
Extension of Service 985 to Eunos Interchang via Mountbatten Rd, Guillemard Rd, Sims Ave, Eunos Rd 2 and Interchange. -

Service 137 between Jurong East & Changi Airport

With that you had a linkage between Jalan Bukit Merah and Alexandra Road. And you need not havve to sacrifice Service 30 to have an unnecessary big loop at Bukit Merah. -
