With effect from 4th May 2004, Service 14 will operate 2 shortworking trips.
CBS14A will operate on weekdays from Bedok Interchange to Upp East Coast Rd (Landville Condo) between 0600 and 0715 hrs.
CBS14B will operate on Sundays & Public Holidays from Bedok Interchange to Grange Rd (Opp Trader's Hotel) between 0900 and 1900 hrs.

This student service serves a total of 9 Schools.Also pass through mosque. Why? On fridays, Muslim Pupils will go for their Friday Prayers. So, this bus stops at Al-Khair Mosque Make life easy for the pupils, increase business @ mosque. This service should operate whole day to benefit all pupils. Diff schools come out at diff times.[b]

Regarding Teck Why Crescent, the reason why buses do not go in that road is because of cars to the 5 schools in the morning. Its damn jammed up as it is already

btw,' every morning, I see that Teck Whye Crescent is managable. 1 reason for not having buses ply there is because of the size. The road is quite small.
Because of problems travelling in Teck Whye Crescent,Svc 978 will now ply Teck Whye Ave. With full bendy fleet as to cope with the load of the 11 schools.
Svc 978 should operate from 5.50AM-8PM daily. Operates half-day on weekends: 6.45AM-3.00PM
What are your comments? Should I suggest this route to Tibs? -
Sv 198 will be ammended exit PIE via Simei Ave, instead of Bedok North Rd. New service Sv 996 plying between Bukit Batok & Upp East Coast The old Sv 854 route (Choa Chu Kang - Bedok) is renumbered to Sv 986 while a new Sv 854 route from Yishun - Eunos is posted. New service Sv 183 between Bukit Merah & Tuas. Sv 967 will be ammended to exit PIE via Whitley Rd instead of the previous exit (Adam Rd). It will follow Sv 190 route to Chinatown then go via Sv 143/131's route to terminate at Bukit Merah. Sv 861, instead of looping at Sungei Rd, will terminate at Ghim Moh instead.

Extension of CBS44
With effect from 5th May 2004, CBS44 will be extended to Eunos Interchange via Bedok North Rd, Bedok Reservoir Rd and Jln Eunos. This service will call at Bedok Interchange in both directions. It will also call at 2 bus stops along Bedok Reservoir Rd in both directions. Direction plates will be in front to assist commuters in taking the correct direction.

With effect from 8th May 2004, CBS15, which plys between Bedok & Kent Ridge via New Upp Changi Rd, will be amended to ply via Chai Chee St and Chai Chee Dr. This is to give Chai Chee residents access to Kembangan MRT, Old Airport Estate and town areas. All other operating details and route remains unchanged.

Part of 147 route from Hougang Central to Bendemeer Rd covered. The remaining route up to New Bridge Rd replaced by NE line. From New Bridge to Clementi can take 196 or transfer to other buses to C'wealth Ave West.

OK, BusTrans has announced it will order 50 units of the new, Euro-4 compliant Mercedes-Benz (Evobus) OC.500LE CNG bus. It will come with a Custom Coaches CB60 body, and a ZF 6HP590 gearbox.

Purchase of new Merz CNG OC.500LE with Volgren Bodywork
CBS is pleased to announce the purchase of the above-mentioned buses. These buses will hit the roads by late-June and ALL of them will be based in JEDEP. JEDEP will also have its own Natural Gas refuelling station in the depot itself.
The first delivery of the buses will be in from Perth, Australia by Saturday 15th May 2004. The buses will have to undergo tests so that each of them would be deemed suitable to be put on the roads.
P.S: Exact numbers are still not known. However, at least 40 will be brought to Singapore from Perth.

Update on Nicoll Hghway Diversion
With effect from Monday 10th May 2004, CBS12 CBS14 CBS32 and CBS21 will be rerouted accordingly with the opening of Crawford Underpass last week.
In addition, the pair of bus stops that is near Golden Mile Twr will be brought 100m forward to outside the Concourse so that commuters and board and alight at this bus stop.
CBS12 CBS14 CBS32-
Towards City: Mountbatten Rd, Geylang Rd, Kallang Rd, Crawford St, Republic Ave, Nicoll Highway and continue via normal route
From City: Nicoll Highway, Republic Ave, Crawford St, Kallang Rd, SIms Ave, Geylang Lor 1, Mountbatten Rd and continue via normal route.
CBS21-
Will be rerouted back to its original route via Crawford Underpass to/from Marina Centre.
