we will not be cutitng down on any bus service or cedeing any buss service anymore
at any rate peeps will get a better service with both CBS and ZYXbus running parell on a service.

TransCorp celebrates its official launch tomorrow, 1 June 2004. We will have our opening ceremony commencing at 9.30am, and our buses will roll on our 8 new intra-town routes from 10am onwards. Passengers will be given free rides on all 8 services until 7pm that day.

BusTrans To Launch 3 New Routes As Part Of Eastern Territories Plan
BusTrans is proud to announce that under phase 1 of the Eastern Territories Plan, 3 new routes have been launched from interchanges in the east, better linking residents there to Central and North-West Singapore. The routes are as follows:
656 : Woodlands Regional Int - Upp East Coast Ter
656X : Woodlands Regional Int - Bedok Int
671 : Toa Payoh Int - Singapore Expo
618 : Bedok - Changi Village
These routes will be launched on the 6th of June 2004. Free rides will be given to all passengers who board the service on the first day of introduction. Special, limited-edition bookmarks and postcards will also be given out during the ride by our very own BusTrans staff.

NEW BUS OPERATOR COMING UR WAY
I, and my friend who has not joined SGforums due to computer problems, will be launching a new bus company.Our services are mainly based on extending current routes.This company will most likely be called Trans Transit. The 3 main interchanges Tibs will be operating from are Woodlands, Choa Chu Kang & Sembawang. The official operation date for Trans Transit is not confirmed yet.
Watch out for this new bus operator,coming soon!

LAUNCH OF TRANS TRANSIT BUS SERVICES LTD
From Sunday, 6 June 2004, Singaporeans will get a
taste of new bus services being operated by Trans
Transit (TTS), a new bus company offering more choices
for the commuting public. Trans Transit will start off
with operating bus services mainly in the north and
northwest Singapore, namely Woodlands and Choa Chu
Kang and upcoming Yishun, Sembawang, Bukit Batok and
Bukit Panjang towns. We will not operate feeder
services for the moment. Take note that Woodlands
services start with 77x and 78x and Sembawang services
start with 79x with the new Sembawang Int entrance at
Sembawang Vista.Choa Chu Kang Services will start with 72x & 73x

btw, CityTrans will officially change the prefix to CTS (original S'pore CityTrans cut short). -
From Sunday, 6th June 2004, passengers would be able to enjoy travelling with ease, convenience and comfort aboard the buses of Harmony Bus Services Ltd. Harmony Bus Services would begin operations in Bukit Panjang New Town, followed by Woodlands New Town. For a start, 3 new bus services would be introduced at Bukit Panjang New Town. Be sure to check out more when Harmony Bus Services start service on June 6th!

meanwhile ZYXbus has signed some agreement with arriva bus of london to co operate and stuff (lolz) in lien wiht the anti sbs campaign coz...airrva cna be rivals to metroline bus (staked by sbst)

at any rate ZYXbus has already broght in 3 DAF DB250LFs that are designed for both arriva and ZYXbus. the buses are now perm on 190.
a fleet of 97 DAF more double deckers will hit the roads progressively this year.
