We wish to inform you that TransCorp currently has a demonstrator Volvo B7RLE fitted with Hispano Habit bodywork on Service 385 (Eunos - Bedok). More such buses as well as European bodies are being considered when we implement our trunk services. Liannex was chosen to supply these 50 initial bodies to lower our startup costs in the initial stages of operation.

With the Yio Chu Kang Bus Plan done, CBS would like to launch the following services from Yio Chu Kang Terminal. They will start operating on Sunday, 6th June 2004.

Due to overwhelming demand from our potential
commuters, Trans Transit is
pleased to inform that we will introduce new services
729 and 786. Service 729 operates between Choa Chu
Kang and Ang Mo Kio while service 786 operates between
Woodlands and Choa Chu Kang.
Service 729 offers Choa Chu Kang residents with an
alternative service to Ang Mo Kio via the expressways
and is faster compare to services operated by our
rival companies.
Service 786 connects Choa Chu Kang North residents
conveniently to Woodlands via Sungei Kadut and offers
residents another alternative other than ZYX 889 and
CTS 59.
729 Route: CCK Int, Ave 4, Drive, KJE, BKE, Mandai
Ave, Yishun Ave 1, 2, Int. (express along KJE and BKE)
786 Route: CCK Int, Ave 4, Drive, Nth 5, Nth 6, Yew
Tee MRT, Nth 7, Way, Sg Kadut Dr, Kranji Way, Loop, Rd
and Woodlands Ave 3, Reg Int.
These services will start operations on Friday, 4 June
2004 and it will be Trans Transit's first two revenue
services. Service 786 also helps connect the two Trans
Transit presidents' towns (insert a gin pic here).
With a frequency of 5 to 10 minutes from 0510 to 0050
hours daily, residents in Choa Chu Kang North will
still be able to catch a bus home after the last ZYX
889 and CTS 59 buses. Service 729 will operate from
0515 to 0030 hours with a frequency of 7 to 13
minutes.
Also, commuters will be delighted to know that Trans
Transit will make its appearance in other towns soon
with our services 61, 67, 167, 180, 189, 190, 700,
851, 854, 960, 969 and 980 this weekend.
As always, Trans Transit is always customer-friendly.
Passengers may call our hotline at 1800-123456789 for
queries or feedback, which we are always seeking to
enhance our services to serve you better.

To prevent duplication of bus services, ABC Transitlink has decided to introduce ITBS 116 to replace ABC SMRTB 106(Bukit Batok to Marina centre) & ABC SBST 111(Ghim Moh to Marina centre). The service plies from Bukit Batok to Harbourfront.

On 5/6/2004, CTS will take over Bukit Merah and Ang Mo Kio Ints. On this day, a new service 34 will also be introduced.

Bedok Int - Bedok Sth Rd - Bedok Sth Ave 1 - ECP - Rochor Rd - Nth Bridge Rd - Stamford Rd - Orchard Rd - Penang Rd - Somerset Rd - Orchard Link - Orchard Blvd - Grange Rd - Holland Rd - Queensway - Jln Bt Merah - Bt Merah Ctrl - Bt Merah Int
And vice versa.
Prior to the introduction of svc 34, service 123 will also be amended.

Handover of Ang Mo Kio Services: 22, 24, 25, 86, 133, 136, 166
With effect from 5th June 2004, CityTrans will officially take over services 22, 24, 25, 86, 133, 136 & 166 as part of the handover in Phrase 1. During the takeover, some amendments will be made to these services:
22 ¨C Extended to Pasir Ris via Tampines Ave 12, Pasir Ris Dr 8, Pasir Ris St 52 and Pasir Ris Int.
24 ¨C Remain unchanged.
25 ¨C Extended to Tampines via Bedok Rd, Simei Ave and Tampines Ave 5.
86 ¨C Remain unchanged.
133 ¨C Remain unchanged till further notice during the 2nd phrase of handover.
136 ¨C Remain unchanged.
166 ¨C Extended to Jurong East via Boon Lay Way and Jurong East Ctrl.
We hope to serve you better after taking over these Ang Mo Kio services.

Island Transit takes over Hougang, Sengkang, Punggol, Marine Parade, Sembawang Interchanges
Yesterday, ABC Government decided to hand some estates to ITBS to expand its territory. Whatz more: ITBS won the future Eastern Region Line (ERL) tender.
Services that are taken over:
15, 16, 55, 76, 135, 155, 196, 853 - Will be amended to terminate at the new Marine Parade Int
New 863 terminates at Marine Parade Int.
Extention of 985 to Marine Parade int.
13 will merge with 853 and will also terminate @ Marine Parade Int.
853 will be operated by other company.
And so on.
