Island Transit takes over Hougang, Sengkang, Punggol, Marine Parade, Sembawang Interchanges
Yesterday, ABC Government decided to hand some estates to ITBS to expand its territory. Whatz more: ITBS won the future Eastern Region Line (ERL) tender.
Services that are taken over:
15, 16, 55, 76, 135, 155, 196, 853 - Will be amended to terminate at the new Marine Parade Int
New 863 terminates at Marine Parade Int.
Extention of 985 to Marine Parade int.
13 will merge with 853 and will also terminate @ Marine Parade Int.
853 will be operated by other company.
And so on.

TTS will be giving up Service 167 to island transit, Service 169 to CTS. Will CTS please renumber 169 to it's own number.
Strictly, no more TTS services will be given up unless there's a valid reason.

As you can see, Trans Transit is taking over all SMRT areas? Why? This is because 2 months ago, SMRT was declared bankrupt and now, they are in heavy debt. Services provided [/code][/color]deproved dramatically. Frequencies were lengthened, buses unmaintained. Worse, they sold off all their bendys, which is about 40% of the SMRT fleet. Due to this, the resident filed lots & lots of complains to LTA, PTC, SMRT and even the MOT. Thus, the LTA asked for a new public transport operator. I, cck_190 & Mr Hafiz Malik met up thru e-mail and decided to become the replacement for SMRT. On 31st May 2004, Trans Transit was founded.TTS will take over all bus services within 2 weeks after the official operating date, 4 June 2004. Over the next month, the MRT NSL & EW, the BP LRT will be given up to TTS. TTS will provide the best service possible, following the motto "Moving People, Enhancing Lives"

I had taken over Sengkang. So cannot take 965!
I may plan to have some buses to CCK.

i would advice all companies to have fair competition and IT DOESNT MATTER should any company duplicate any routes with each other. This in addition brings more variety to the commuters and it'd be best if companies could co-operate and integrate their operations with each other, with their service no remaining.
what do i mean? take a look at this..
Transcorp385 ZYX60 and CBS44 duplicates each other from Eunos to Bedok. It may not be 100% duplication, but it duplicates more than 90% of the route.
What are these routes? SBST60.
These 3 companies have integrated operations so that one bus interval is 3min. This would mean that every 9 min, one bus from each bus co will despatch a bus. This gives commuters optimum statisfaction. Dont you agree? -

Built along CCK Way. Not so big, basement parking facilities.Contains 150+ buses inside it.Supplies buses to CCK & all demonstrator and spare buses will be stored here.
Woodlands North Depot
Built beside the Tibs WLDEP.Size about the same of CCKDEP, supplies buses to Woodlands.Basement parking facilities.
Tibs WLDEP
Given to TTS. Stores ard 170 buses, supplies buses to Sembawang, Simpang.Half of WLDEP converted into bus assembly plant.

Due to overwhelming demads from passenger in SMRTB areas and also to confusion in this forum, a last minute decision has been made by the President & V President of TTS.
TTS WILL TAKE OVER ALL SMRTB SERVICES ON THE OFFICIAL ROLLING IN DATE, 5/6/04
With immediate effect, Trans Transit will take over all
SMRT bus services except 167, 965, 980 and 981. Other
rival companies such as CTS will operate these
services. This move will ensure that commuters will
not be confused due to the immediate change of CTS
minds. Also, we would like to inform other companies
to kindly inform us beforehand if any service
takeovers are done as it has been published earlier
that TTS will take over all SMRT services. Please take
note that services 962 and 859 will be under TTS
still, as they operate from Woodlands and Yishun
respectively.

Tommorow, SMRT buses will give up all their services to TTS Corp. This is how the ceremony's gonna take place.SMRT will get to operate the services till 3.00PM, in the evening.3.00PM: SMRT & TTS Presidents will meet at the historic CCK int. 2 handovers have taken place here since it opened in 1989.3.30PM: Residents gather in the interchange to witness the handover. A contract is made declaring that SMRT gives up everything to TTS.4.00PM: TTS1020 will be the first bus to enter CCK int. It will pick up all the VIP, including the Presidents to bring to Woodland Regional Int.4.30PM: All services @ CCK will be operated by TTS.5.00PM: At WRI, the two Vice presidents will greet the presidents and here, they walk around the int before the ceremony begins.5.30PM: A special cement patch will be driven over by a SMRT bus, to signify that SMRT was once here.
