VSOS have bene deployed on ZYX84. due to route duplication ZYX31 have been withdrawn since Jan 2004.
ZYX149 also fills in for ZYX31.

It is 2006 and Transitlink (TL) has become the master operator of our public transport system (Bus & rail). The following changes will be made to several bus services on 1 January 2006:
Services 23 & 111: Integration resulting in Service 111 plying between Tampines and Ghim Moh via Orchard Rd, Little India and PIE.
Service 77: Amended to ply between Bt Batok and Shenton Way via Orchard Rd, Clemenceau Ave, Havelock Rd, Raffles Quay, Shenton Way, Palmer Rd & Shenton Way Ter.
Service 82: Extension to Bishan Int via Upp Serangoon Rd, Beaddell Rd, Bishan Rd, Bishan St 12, St 11 & Bishan Int.

Services 859 & 962: Integration resulting in Service 962 plying between Woodlands and Yishun via Sembawang New Town.
Service 961: To ply between Woodlands and Geylang Lor 1 ONLY/
Service 970: Amended to ply between Bt Panjang and Suntec City (loop) via Eu Tong Sen St, High St, St Andrew's Rd, Raffles Bvd, Suntec Tower 2, Raffles Ave, Stamford Rd, Hill St, New Bridge Rd and normal route thereafter.
Service 980: Amended to ply between newly-opened Sembawang Int and Geylang Lor 1. Admiralty Rd West Ter to be closed.

i find that 106 duplicate with 77 all the way from napier rd to bras basah road .so i would like to admend 106 and make it to serve roads like beach road which has few services.
the admendment is as follows.
direction 1 towards geylang lor 1
after bras basah rd ,prinsep st,selegie rd,sungei rd,ophir rd,beach rd,crawford st,kallang rd,finally geylang lor 1 terminal.
dirction 2 towards bt batok
from geylang lor 1 terminal,kallang rd,crawford st,north bridge rd,jin sultan,beach rd,rochor rd,bencoolen st and back to orchard rd -
how about let sbstransit 56 loop at jin sultan instead of terminating at marina centre.

Somewhere in the near future, SBS Transit and Trans-Island Bus Services have merged into one company called Trans-Singapore Bus Services (TSBS) for short. Services and routes from SBST and TIBS will currently be retained until further amendments and changes.
TSBS is considering extending Service 15 which used to start from Pasir Ris Interchange and loop at Marine Parade Road. The recommended Service 15 will ply between Pasir Ris Interchange and Marina Centre Terminal via Shenton Way.

With the NEL's opening and Svc 106 going to Marina Ctr, Svc 77 has become duplicated by 106 (Holland Rd/Ave to Marina Ctr Ter) and 174 (Bt Batok to Dunearn Rd/6th Ave). Diverting Svc 77 to Clemenceau Ave and Upp Pickering St helps it stay viable.
Svc 75 should be extended along Beach Rd towards Crawford St and Lavender St. The reduction of Svc 82 has left Beach Rd with veery few bus svcs.And since SBST111 currently loop at Suntec, on my return trip, I will prefer to take SBST111 back to Holland V.[/quote]

Similarly, SBST controls more of the Shenton Way and NBR terminus than TIBS. Instead of adding more services to park at Raffles Blvd, SBST was clever enough to loop SBST97, SBST111 and SBST502 for 2 reasons
1. to reduce parking at MRC
2. to commute pax from suntec on their return trip.
In case you guys dont know, drivers change the side desto at the junction of Raffles Ave and Temasek Ave.
