  The 1st air-con SBS service was 168, which plied from Ang Mo Kio to Orchard Road.
  
  However, the first SBS service to ever get an air-con bus was 143. The bus was the Leyland National II which was a demonstrator (or trial) bus. It lasted for a short time before the bus was sold overseas.
  
  Before SBS was formed, there were already air-con buses, but these were very rare and I do not have any exact details on them.

  Yes, it is fully air-conditioned and air-con fare structure (as at 1985) are as follows:
  
  <4 : $0.60
  4.5 - 7: $0.75

  I remember taking 168 on O305 so 168 cannot be a fully air con service.

  168 started as a non-aircon service. It was subsequently converted into SBS's first regular aircon service and in this case, it happened to be fully-aircon.

  i say like this:
  svc STC18 was the first air-con bus service. later svc 5 took over the air-con nissan buses in those years.
  think maybe not STC but put STC just not to confuse, likely is ABS back then...or is it hock lee muhahahahha

  in 1985 168 went partial air-con. (not full air-con) back in 1985 they used the 0302s and the LD alts.

  Not too sure, but I believe were services 950, 951 or 952.

  Yes they were, they were the ones which used DAF Hispano body.

  It was NAC, Sv. 3 is the first FAC service from the start.

  The first SBS air-con bus, a Leyland National 2, came in 1982. It was put on trial for a short period on sv. 143 (Toa Payoh - Jurong Rd 16.2 km).
  
  Svs 3 and 168 had existed since 1980, both were NAC in the beginning. When SBS bought over 8 Mercedes O302 buses from SABS, they were put on SBS's first air-con service in 1984. This new service was called AIRCON 168. Route details was the same as the normal sv. 168 except that AIRCON 168 operated from 0630 - 1645 with no operation on Sundays & PH. And it charged according to the air-con fare structure.
  
  Sv. 3 was also converted the same way as 168. In sv 3's case, the whole fleet was converted to AC and renamed as AIRCON 3. So, the first SBS service to be full AC right from its inception was actually AIRCON 118.

  Im not sure either.....but svc 857 is undoubtedbly the first FAC service in Yishun back then, with a full fleet of U31RCN.
  
  I still remember passing thru Marsiling TEr on svc 856 in the past....allways amazed to see the AC Hinos with the nice blue desto.....
