  I u'stand tat Dennis Lance245 n 211 respectively uses diff eng but the same gearbox right?Similiar to that SBST Volvo Olympian 1st gen to 3rd generation,correct?

  As for your topic, NONE of Tibs buses from 1982 till present are locally built.
  
  The old Japanese buses are built in Japan.
  
  The Mercs are built in Hispano factory.
  
  The Volgrens are built in Volgren factory.
  
  As for the WA Bodied DAFs and Scanias I am not too sure. Same to the ELBOs.

  DM-UMW Lance 245s - Built in KL
  DM Lance 211s - Built in UK
  
  The TIBS manager I spoke to during one of the depot trips said that TIBS will continue to buy CBU buses, which is known for their high quality workmanship.

  Nope, the UK Lances and Malaysian Lances share the same engine specifications and same gearbox.

  In fact, same body work. They also use EDS of the same brand, Twin Vision. Only the interior is different, as in they use diff panelling and seat cushions.

  The only major difference is the interior and where the chassis/body was built.
