In general, SBST timetables are quite standardized. Their mealbreaks range from 22 - 26 min long on a weekday and 28-30 min long on a sunday.Originally posted by TIB1186Z:Hey had u all noticed TIBS timesheet?
Wad does the "Paid mealbreak" means? Is it the time taken to eat paid or both the food and the time paid by TIBS?
The paid mealbreaks can have very funny timings ranging from as early as 9+ to as late as 2+ for some timetables.
In general, This is how it looks like:
(Eg, svc 804 )
804AM01
Overnite parking at Yishun XX:XX
Yishun Interchange XX:XX
Yishun Interchange.............XX:00
Yishun Ring Rd B??............XX:11
Yishun Ring Rd B??............XX:20
Yishun Interchange..............XX:31
Paid Mealbreak XX:00-XX:29
The next trip can be one headway later, or immediately as in the case during peak hours. For example, 806 Bendies run continuosly from 0600-0800 and from 1700-2000 to maintain the required high frequency. On the other hand, svc 804 drivers has a layover of abt. 4-7mins. I pity the 806 drivers for this reason.
Anyone noes the difference for SBST timetables?
If Sv. 806 drivers are pitiful, what about Sv. 51? They have to drive CONTINUOUSLY for 2 hours straight! At least Sv. 806 drivers can get some respite at Yishun.Originally posted by TIB1186Z:Hey had u all noticed TIBS timesheet?

Yah....its very true that its much easier to drive feeders than trunk, at least no major traffic jams, now that svc 382 and 385 are extinct. I am merely comparing svc 806 among the feeders.Originally posted by SBS9818A:If Sv. 806 drivers are pitiful, what about Sv. 51? They have to drive CONTINUOUSLY for 2 hours straight! Sv. 857 drivers do get rest, furthermore the route is not very long.Originally posted by TIB1186Z:Yah....its very true that its much easier to drive feeders than trunk, at least no major traffic jams, now that svc 382 and 385 are extinct. I am merely comparing svc 806 among the feeders.
Hmm.....other services include svc 61, as well as 857 as they have to drive the loop continously. If svc 858 drivers are held up or late for some reasons, they have to forgo their much needed toilet break at SIN Ter 2.....and that is a whooping 70+ fare satges over 2+hours!!!
Yah......the rest period is not very long, BTW. During its peak period on Sundays, the rest time is only one headway, ie ~9-10mins. I had taken a bus that got stuck like siao at USR and the poor driver had to reverse out on his next trip upon reaching Yishun Interchange. That means 4hrs of continous driving!Originally posted by SBS9818A:Sv. 857 drivers do get rest, furthermore the route is not very long.
That rest period is better than that of SBST. 7 mins for Sv. 56, 8-9 mins for Sv. 55Originally posted by TIB1186Z:Yah......the rest period is not very long, BTW. The most pampered drivers are those on svc 852. Some rest for as long as 2 headways in the evening, and is not their meal break!!! Furthermore, the route is only 1hr long.
talking about your 90 again? ....................Originally posted by th1988:Some even 6 mins rest on SBS svs
