Bus 23...

  Bus 23 nw takes longer to arrive leh... just last month alone it takes onli 5 mins for each bus to come in the morning (between 8am-9am)... for the past few days, it has been delayed to 15mins to 30mins (between 8am-9am)... wat happened?

  Could be due to the heavy jams along PIE (towards Rochor Canal). Perhaps you can feedback to SBS Transit to ask for an explanation.

  There could be jam at PIE as that is during morning rush time. Unlikely to be a timetable change.

  Traffic patterns on expressways are very hard to predict. They are the same as commuter patterns too.
  
  I'd like to suggest SBST to come up with an emergency deployment team so that affected passengers would not wait so long for the next bus because of a traffic jam. Would this be feasible?

  Bunched up Sv 23 buses are not uncommon.
  
  Once I was waiting for a Sv 23 bus at Tampines and there was no bus at the 4 berths it has (23/81/8 use personalized parking berths, unlike the others at Tampines). Four buses came in one after another, in a span of a few minutes.
  
  On the journey, I saw 2 VOs bunched up near Temesek Poly, and 1 VO and 2 MK3s on the PIE rushing towards Tampines one after another.

  Don't forget they have many spare buses inside depots, but there may be not enough drivers. Unless you mobilize a whole team of them, and there happens to be no jam, what do they do, sit there and shake leg?
