Oh that Indian guy that speeds like mad, no?Originally posted by off_service:One driver of TIB 933 R. Absolutely horrifying.
Me too. Sounds like fun. Seriously, the drivers must be more careful. I hope they know that the buses have a sort of "black box" which records down the speed, brake forces, rpm etc. This info is reviewed from time to time and reflects how good or bad a driver is. Safety is the utmost priority. A little speed is nice but in-bus forces must be maintained to ensure that passenger comfort level is not exceeded.Originally posted by tranquilice:Can you give me the rego numbers if you have them? But SBST will not know which driver it is as their drivers change buses every week!Originally posted by The_Bus_Guide:Me too. Sounds like fun. Seriously, the drivers must be more careful. I'm sure that SBST and TIBS have a record of who's driving which bus and when. They can run but they can't hide.Originally posted by SBS9818A:But SBST will not know which driver it is as their drivers change buses every week!
TIBS of course, but I don't think SBST do since their scheduling is a mess.Originally posted by The_Bus_Guide:I'm sure that SBST and TIBS have a record of who's driving which bus and when. They can run but they can't hide.

Sometimes there's TIBS staffs at the bus stop taking tickets from the driver or recording the time of arrival. I've seen this on sv 184 for many times.Originally posted by SBS9818A:TIBS of course, but I don't think SBST do since their scheduling is a mess.
Your ZYX61 ah? Sv. 35 is enjoyable once it goes along Xilin Ave onwards.Originally posted by xin1jun2:i WOULD prefer if my 61 drivers do speed. in fact driving at 80k on the troads is fine by me. as long as u are careful and the bus is well maintinaed (as in disc brakes etc work =S)

Yupz u got it. Its SBS2829 on my darling svc, cos its the only perm mk 5 with an indian driver! SBST drivers are given only a maximum of 45mins to chiong from Tampines to Yishun to compete with svc 969. Those in doubt ( u noe who u are ) are welcome to check out the driver's timetables.Originally posted by leeJZ:Today I boarded Sv 39 (MK4 SBS 2829 something ) and this Indian bus driver was driving the bus really fast. On Tampines Ave 2 towards Yishun something flagged the bus REALLY late, and he quickly swerved left and stopped just where the bus lane for the bus stop ended. Luckily it was one of those bus stops where the bus lane was really long.
Later he closed the doors just after I stepped down....
It has become my habit of checking out the timesheet of driversOriginally posted by TIB1186Z:Yupz u got it. Its SBS2829 on my darling svc, cos its the only perm mk 5 with an indian driver! Indian drivers somehow love acting like Schumacher.Originally posted by delonchew:Go try 856 driven by this Indian driver. I got his name but I won't put it down here to protect privacy.
The bus departs WRI at approximately 5.35pm in the evenings. Normally he drives a Habit (I took TIB1244P and TIB1040K with him at the helm).
At the bus stop, even before the doors closes fully, he is already accelerating out of the bus bay and I figured he is driving at more than 60km/h along Admiralty Rd West, due to the lack of passengers at that time, so you can imagine the bouncing of the trailer given the ups and downs of Admiralty Rd West. I was on TIB1244P when he executed a high speed turning from Senoko Rd to Senoko Drive. When I got off TIB1244P at Canberra Road, I could smell the brakepads burning too.
