Aha,Just want to share and discuss about this topics to you guys.
There are some public bus drivers who i categorised as a qualified hellbusdrivers title.
No racism remarks intended,Also no disgrace intended.
Svs 61 An indian guy,Always drive the bendy buses with the ITE ads,Boards 3x on his bus @9.20pm above and he start to speed and weave in and out once he reach Eunos Link all the way to Bukit Batok.Nearly one Chinese old man fell down due to the sudden of full-press acceleration.He also forgot to closed the rear door thrice,Which leave the rear seats passengers to be shocked.
Svs 63 A Chinese driver in his mids 40s,Loves to speeds even the next bus stop with passenger flagging down is nearer to him.He also got one habit that is sudden brakes,Which i'm puzzled even though the traffic in front is clear.4x board his bus.
Svs 2 Young Chinese guy which i think in his late 20s.Like to speed when taking corners and narrow roads.Always showed a kind of face which i would not like to describe.One time he tried to overtake a car on the left lane and in the end he missed a bus stop which he supposedly to stop because an auntie press the bell to alight.The auntie was very furious with him and again,He showed that kind of face without apology.3x coincidently board his bus in the morning to send my daughter to school when i work in the afternoon shift.
Svs 67 A malay guy,Like to speed spontaneously even before the pax was seated.He also twice beat the lights due to the speed he drive along Bt Timah Rd even it is just 9pm.Only board once but hopefully be the last because of his driving skills.
Svs 853 An indian guy,Always in a hurry.He close the rear door before a teenager could alight and the door hit the guy hand.Poor guy,The driver even scolded him for late alighting.Twice roll over the kerbs when turning.
Guess those driver are in a bad moods or maybe because of the tight schedules,Anyway they must take priority first in passengers safety.Good Luck to them anyway.Any Similiar experiences to shared? -
Can you give me the rego numbers if you have them? I would like to board their buses and see how they drive.

Me too. Sounds like fun. Seriously, the drivers must be more careful. I hope they know that the buses have a sort of "black box" which records down the speed, brake forces, rpm etc. This info is reviewed from time to time and reflects how good or bad a driver is. Safety is the utmost priority. i WOULD prefer if my 61 drivers do speed. in fact driving at 80k on the troads is fine by me. as long as u are careful and the bus is well maintinaed (as in disc brakes etc work =S)
er..meanwhile do try svc 35...all drivers speed like crazy. yikes

Most svc 19, 37 and 29 drivers drive very fast. They open doors even when the bus have not come to a complete stop, and they close doors before you completely alight. 29 drivers became better i think, cause it changed route to one that is not as "direct". Changi Roads too clear?

SBS 3613 M of 238 has a hell bus driver, very notorious for playing catch-up to the bus in front. I pity the driver in front and behind him.
He's a malaysian guy who had a poked face...
but sadly... he's not around.. neither is his bus that he drives the route on.. lolz -
Today I boarded Sv 39 (MK4 SBS 2829 something ) and this Indian bus driver was driving the bus really fast. On Tampines Ave 2 towards Yishun something flagged the bus REALLY late, and he quickly swerved left and stopped just where the bus lane for the bus stop ended. Luckily it was one of those bus stops where the bus lane was really long.
Later he closed the doors just after I stepped down.... -
Yupz u got it. Its SBS2829 on my darling svc, cos its the only perm mk 5 with an indian driver! SBST drivers are given only a maximum of 45mins to chiong from Tampines to Yishun to compete with svc 969. Go try 856 driven by this Indian driver. I got his name but I won't put it down here to protect privacy.
The bus departs WRI at approximately 5.35pm in the evenings. Normally he drives a Habit (I took TIB1244P and TIB1040K with him at the helm).
At the bus stop, even before the doors closes fully, he is already accelerating out of the bus bay and I figured he is driving at more than 60km/h along Admiralty Rd West, due to the lack of passengers at that time, so you can imagine the bouncing of the trailer given the ups and downs of Admiralty Rd West. I was on TIB1244P when he executed a high speed turning from Senoko Rd to Senoko Drive. When I got off TIB1244P at Canberra Road, I could smell the brakepads burning too. -
