I presume the terminal was a roadside one and located near Blks 7/8 Ulu Pandan Terminal - Junction of Clementi Road and Ulu Pandan Road

I am not sure where Service 80 terminated at other than Upper Changi Terminal.But I can tell you the route is similar to Service 81 (Tampines-New Bridge Road) route. Sv. 80 went to Prince Edward Terminal. It was withdrawn in mid-1985. There wasn't any terminals in the area of present day Choa Chu Kang New Town. Apart from Teck Whye Estate, the rest of the area was still undeveloped. However, there was a terminal along Upp Bt Timah Rd near the Bt Panjang Circus (now the junction adj to Ten Mile Junction) in 1980. Svs. 178, 181, 193 and 200 terminated here. The terminal near Bt Panjang Circus was closed around 1983. Svs. 178 and 181 were extended to Woodlands Inter., Sv. 193 was cut short to end at Princess Elizabeth Ter. and sv. 200 was made to loop at Jln Anak Bt. -

Bus Terminals in the 1970s and 1980s were named after the road where it was located. I have an old picture of an SBS Metsec bodied OF1413 which was on sv. 181 and its desto simply states "Upp Bt Timah Rd". I didn't know there were 2 Upp Bt Timah Rd terminals until I checked Bus Guide 1980. One was called "Upp Bt Timah Rd (near Ewart Circus)" and the other "Upp Bt Timah Rd (near Bt Panjang Circus)".Originally posted by thots:What was the name of the terminal? The "Upp Bt Timah Rd (near Ewart Circus)" terminal was later given the name Bt Timah Terminal. Ewart Circus used to be at Hindhede Dr, which leads to the Bt Timah Nature Reserve. The old Bt Timah Terminal area is now occupied by the Court's store. -
Actually, sv. 366 was integrated with sv. 189. The section between Bt Batok Interchange and Bt Batok East Ave 3 was once done by sv 366. I guess poor passenger traffic of sv. 366 led to the integration. Back in the 1980s, service 9 from Changi Airport cargo complex will turn right into a small road near Somapah terminal, and head towards Lor 1 Geylang terminal. (As like the present day service 2 turning right into Simei Rd from Changi Village terminal) But from the bus guide during that time, the route only states Upp Changi Rd between Bedok and Changi Point. So does it means that Simei Rd either didn't exist or it did not extend to the present Upp Changi Rd East junction? If Upp Changi Rd was the only road there, why did the bus turn into another road?

In 1984, there were 2 roads, Upper Changi Road and Upper Changi Road East which are linked together at one point. There is a split just after Somapah Road, near Changkat Changi Primary School there. There is also no presence of Simei Road at that time. Only Sunbird Ave existed then. See the image below.
I assume that Service 9 entered the right side of the split roads, thus Upper Changi Road between Bedok and Changi Point. Either that, or it turns right at Somapah Road (note the small road between Upper Changi Road and Upper Changi Road East with an arrow) and left again at Upper Changi Road (similar to current Service 2). However, this is just my presumption.
For further information. By 1988, this split road and the small Somapah Road were gone, to be replaced by current day Simei Rd which is still under construction then (shown as u/c inside the 1988 directory). -
