New TIBS or SBS bus service at HBF soon?

lately bus peeps have been noticing SBS training buses and TIBS traning buses ard HBFarea
also one noticable change at HBF int is that the berths for TIBS 855 and SBS80 have bene re arranged making it look like a new bus service is gg to be introduced

I saw an NAC WA Mk 2 at Orchard. Just this week, I saw NAC Mk 2 at Upp Serangoon Road. Both have desto "Training Bus" -
Lately, I saw some TIBS training buses too.
Part of the route is of 188. But I do not know which it interchange it starts from. Any idea?

I suspect 85 may make a comeback because the signboard at Harbourfront which has "85 SENGKANG" was not removed. Even during the berth shifting, this signboard was not removed or dumped. Instead, it is now moved to the berths between 855 and 188.

Last Friday when i saw the training MK2 and training TIBS bus at HBF sv 855's berth, I saw TIB 572 Z along Pasir Panjang Rd (towards Kent Ridge) with training bus desto. Boy, the training buses are runnin' wild! -

I had seen training buses at BV terminal sometime ago, and nothing happen. As such, I never associate new services with training bus. To me, it's could be just a familiar ride to new drivers.
Last night saw 2 SBST drivers (on uniforms) taking ride (at front seats) on TIBS 61. It' s kind of strange, as I doubt SBST drivers would rather not pay for bus fares by taking SBST buses.
TIBS is embarking on a recruitment drive? TIBS had better benefits that could attract SBST drivers??? Hope that wouldn't spiral into an unhealthy competition, which bus companies up their skates to recruit bus captains. -

From what I understand, SBST executives receive free rides only on SBST buses. Likewise TIBS executives receive free rides only on TIBS buses.
I doubt SBST bus captains receive free rides on TIBS buses. Unless they know each other. -

A new service at Harbourfront? Hmm.... very unlikely.... Although i would strongly support the presence of a new Tibs service there but i doubt so as there're already three Tibs services at Harbourfront, namely: 188 - Connects CCK and Bt Batok, 855 - Connects Yishun and last but not least 963 - Connects Woodlands, Bt Panjang, Hillview and a small section of Bt Batok. All the tibs major areas of responsibilities have been covered under these three services.. However, it's a different story altogether for SBST though. Perhaps, a new service to the northeast is in the pipeline? This time round, it'll go a different route than the old 85. Who knows? Anything's possible.......

Not possible in my opinion, passengers along Pasir Panjang can take service 51 to Queensway and service 176 to Bt Merah. To add to the madness training buses of SBST have been sighted almost everywhere.

Well,Drivers come and go at TIBS & SBST.So this is the month where trainee drivers are on practical/Route familiaration course after the orientations in February.
Look out for the month of May too!
