Hey there everyone!
Hmmm... Asking me what had inspired me to really like buses, it could be traced way back 3 to 4 years ago, when Service 5 was withdrawn and Service 970 introduced.
When Service 5 was still around, I started observing the yellow-orange striped Tibs buses turning from Alexandra Rd down to Lower Delta Rd, but nothing beyond that. It was when Service 970 started that I really began observing buses, because from that first trip on the service onwards, I fell in love with MBO.405s
Proceeding from there, I started observing the permanent buses deployment on the service and the cameos used. And my interest in buses really widened when I took the bus down to Bukit Panjang and saw all the other yellow-orange striped Tibs buses
Because I was still using BCP then, I used to come down to Bukit Panjang after me dinner and homework and revisions and stroll over there, looking at the Tibs buses roaming to and fro...
Erm... I think if I were to continue telling me story, you'll all gonna fall asleep, so that's how Service 970 inspired me to like buses

I don't think that it's sbst which don't want. Basically to be frank, I cannot agree more with you. Even my service captain friend also told me that Singaporean bus drivers are a minority in the two bus companies. The bus drivers' working hours are really long and they're working 6 days a week.
