Does anyone want to pays less by taking non-aircon buses. The different is only 5 cents to 25 cents between the air-con and non air-con buses.
But the non air-con buses is only on SBST.
svc 74 has around 70%-80& or NAC buses. what I observed a few years ago. But I think they didn't change much recently. Furthermore, it is very frequent. Sometimes I really wonder why SBST thought commuters of svc 74 like NAC so much... b4 June 1998, it actually has only 20% of NAC...Originally posted by TIB1186Z:It isn't really worth the time to take NAC buses due to the time lost due to the waiting time for a NAC bus. For example, for some services with less than 50% AC buses like 151, it is not worth the time to wait for like 20minutes during non peak hours just for that fare savings. Even for svcs like 74 with a high frequency, one may not even be able to board it.
70-80% NAC? When I was at Hougang recently, it seemed about 50-50....Originally posted by kenmin:svc 74 has around 70%-80& or NAC buses. what I observed a few years ago. finally. after so many years... haven't taken this svc for almost 3yrs.Originally posted by xin1jun2:nope. 74 has Vo2x left from AYBP only. maybe about only 7 buses. very little. i would say 30 percent.
meanwhile 90 is naturally 85 percent non air-con.
191 and 91 is full non air-con.

a shuttle fr Hougang to Buona Vista?!Originally posted by leeJZ:70-80% NAC? When I was at Hougang recently, it seemed about 50-50....
Sv 74 is mainly a student shuttle...and like the JIS services, SBS doesnt like dumping the good buses on them because the students are on concession fares..
NAC buses are not that easy to get on svc 74 these days. SBST is better than TIBS , TIBS dump crappy lances on svc 852 which now has a permanent problem closing doors properly.Originally posted by leeJZ:70-80% NAC? When I was at Hougang recently, it seemed about 50-50....

Ha!Ha!Ha! Agree with you. Like what SBS 9818 A said, what is the point of doing that.Originally posted by Scania:easy, just pay Aircon fare on TIBS CAC buses, then open the window
