I hate those box hispano 0405s. The sight of these TIBS 0405s put me off........phase them out. And also those dirty DAF SB220s. I took DAF SB220s and found cockroaches running on the floor, and the bus front looks disgusting, eck. And SBST's MK3. Get them off the roads, they are sickening. Their revving engines are so noisy and sound very like going to die like that. Phase them all out, yeah man!

Those Box 0405s are the main fleet for tibs. Also there are very few CRLs and CRBs around. These vehicles have the most torque as they are associated with Saab motors. The proportion of Scanias is the smallest in comparison the the Mk 2/3/4 B10Ms and O405s.

Actually, i only hate BOX HISPANO 0405s. I love the volgren bodied 0405s. Those with TIB97X? regos. I think TIBS shud buy more volgren 0405s and phase out the bloody boxes! As for the DAFS, their engines are damn noisy, but the same goes too for the MK3s. And dunno why, that dreaded SBS868P actually came to my Sv163 and stayed! It is the dirtiest and oldest MK3 i have ever seen. The chair fabric has been repaired using PATCHES, which look so "beggarish". My gran took the bus today and complained that the air con was not working properly and that the floor was full of **** and dirty garbage. Yeck. Maybe we shud tell SBST and TIBS: "GET THOSE MK3s AND DAF SB220s OFF THE ROADS OF SINGAPORE! THEY ARE A PUBLIC DISGRACE TO TOURISTS COMING HERE!!!!!!"

Some MK3s are actually quite nice, at least the refurbished ones, but if you get some like SBS 866 U that often cameos on Sv 2...

There is widespread speculation that the Dennis Darts are headed for the scrap heap as they are running wild. What will replace them? More Mk 5s? To keep costs down, get the 18-280s. MAN's manufacturing base is just across the causeway. Iveco's distributor is also located there.

I would advice you to use a more moderate tone to express your views. Your views are too extremist and you may not have considered the feelings of those who enjoyed rides on the buses you dislike.
I would gladly see that you will refrain from extremist views to avoid any flame wars, or in serious cases, facing charges. -

Also, the box O405s are only 10 years old this year. It would be hard for TIBS to phase them out early, especially when the performances are rather good IMO.
DAF buses are actually quiet if in top condition. You can try sitting infront, it's quiet. -

During the early 90s, both TIBS and SBST needed alot of buses for the growing fleet for the growing demands for new routes or to improve on their services. With more upcoming train lines, this will spell amendments and withdrawals of services, hence, SBST may not need 700 replacements buses. The number could be lower. -
It will be quite a mess, but it will be gradual as they can't just bring in a huge number of buses at one shot.
