On an average day, the average time I need is 45mins to 1 hour 10 mins to get from Bukit Gombak MRT to NTU

More time on the train means less time you have to waste on bus travelling.

As reported in the straits times, this line will be complete in two years will be at least 4km long (Changi Airport Line is 6.5km long) will have 2 stations.

Extension of the East-West Line may be completed in two years; it will improve public transport for those in Jurong West
Is it possible??? There are only 2 blocks in my precinct currently undergoes Main Upgrading Program. And they still schedule 2.5 years to complete.
The lifts, currently still undergo upgrading, have already shut down for more than a year! -
read in the straits times some time ago that LTA is planning to build a new bus terminal in Jurong West around the Pioneer area. so maybe the new station will be integrated with the bus terminal

I doubt it's the case for EWL extension. The yunnan gardens would probably be served by the Jurong Lines instead. And sorry to tell you, no news on when it would be built.Originally posted by kenmin:i think there will be a station near yunnan gardens.

In my guess, the extension will ply via Jurong West St 63, pass by the flats along Pioneer Rd North, then link up with Upp Jurong Rd to S'pore Discovery Centre, then make a left alignment into Joo Koon industrial area where the terminating point is, as mentioned in the press release.

,Thanks to my friend(yes,my friend) who always complains to the authority about the waiting times he suffered on the JIS.Probably they also had a plan for a direct rail system to zoo also ha?
