You could try, but Sungei Road tends to sell more electronics.Originally posted by SBS9818A:Does Sungei Rd fleat market stock these items?
There is no permanent stall. The "tenants" change every week. The set up is like Sungei Road "Thieves Market", but a bit more organised. So you have to try your luck every weekend to see if someone is selling the stuff you want.Originally posted by BlessingSatan:Clarke Quay eh?Which stall?
Is this a shop in a building or a temporary stall under a tent?Originally posted by The_Bus_Guide:I did bought a 1985 Bus Guide from Clarke Quay. Although most of the tenants change every week there are some permanent shops selling old stuff. This particular shop, where I found the bus guide, is facing River Valley Rd and it sells all kinds of old contraptions from rusty musical instruments to yellow stained postcards. There are 2 shelves packed haphazardly with dusty old books, some dating back to the 1960s. I was lucky to have spotted the 1985 Bus Guide. I tried to find other bus guides but gave up after sneezing too many times. You could try your luck there. Happy hunting.
