what the reasons for few services to beach rd?

it seems there are few bus services to beach rd.only namely sbstransit 100,107 and tibs 961 and 980.what could be the reasons for few buses to beach rd?

Well, having those 4 svcs seemed pretty reasonable enough. There are 2 more roads parallel to it, namely nicoll highway and north bridge rd that have ample svcs.

how about admend 106 and let it serve beach rd then to geylang lor 1 terminal?find that 106 and 77 have similar route from napier rd to bras basah rd.

Note that there is only one service between Crawford St/Republic Ave and Jln Sultan, towards the city. It would be better if services 961 and 980 ply this stretch in this direction.

direction 1 towards geylang lor 1
after bras basah rd
prinsep st,selegie rd,ophir rd,beach rd,crawford st,kallang rd and finally geylang lor 1 terminal.
direction 2 towards bt batok
from geylang lor 1 terminal,kallang rd,crawford st,north bridge rd,jin sultan,beach rd,rochor rd,bencoolen st and then to orchard rd .the rest of the route remain unchanged. -
Sv. 56 also serves Beach Rd.

There used to be a lot of buses to Beach Rd in 1980s... but so suay tt most routes duplicate with e MRT... so got withdrawn... then left with 5 svcs

Service 123 should go to Beach Rd. The journey from Penang Rd towards Bt Merah can be covered by Service 36.

Service 36: From Changi Airport to Bt MErah
Normal route towards Orchard Blvd, Grange Rd, Napier Rd, Holland Rd, Queensway, Jln Bt Merah, Bt Merah Ctr and Bt Merah Int. -
