proof:
TIBS introduce more "express" turnk services like 966 recently. no point making commuters pay more policy by TIBS?
both bus co have not introuce new express bus service since dunno when
why then did blue arrow services go bye bye?
MRT seems to be fast lor
Fares no pexpress bus to ex.
Review of current buses:
502 - huh express arh. sure or not...where got express? all traffik lights one
506 - no one takes one
518 - windy route thru new towns..hardly express lor
507 - this one still OK. full bus loads even during evening peaks.

Sv 502 should ply express after exiting Boon Lay/Jurong. The next stop it should call after that is the first stop on Orchard Rd, maybe include Holland Village as well. Otherwise better to downgrade to trunk service.

SBS 9120D was deployed on 502 after the first few weeks of the amendment from Boon Lay to Marina Centre mostly on weekedns as cameos. But after that they replaced the fleet with the 0405 Jurong Island buses.
Svc 506 is packed during morning and afternoon peak hours. It serves mainly those who want to go from Bukit Batok to Bedok/Bedok Reservoir. Dont assume express services have no demand just because they charge higher fares. The are some who dont mind paying for a more convenient ride rather than having to take feeder/MRT/feeder again. That's precisely the rationale of introducing the services in the 1st place
