19 has no problem getting DDs.. just that SBST refused to deploy them. 90 and 94 have no height limit. LO2x were deployed on 90 before.Originally posted by ula_man:Where are the roads due to road conditions, cannot allow the deployment of DD for trunk services?

Upper Aljunied Rd to be exact. SBS135 had LA buses before.. but then again the trees are much older now..Originally posted by SBS9818A:Sv. 100, Sv. 135, Sv. 155 due to trees at Aljunied Rd.
Sv. 156 due to trees at Sixth Ave.Originally posted by service_238:Upper Aljunied Rd to be exact. SBS135 had LA buses before.. but then again the trees are much older now..
actually Svc 11 is not subject to any height restrictions, it's jus that its low/seasonal demand does not require DDs to be deployed.Originally posted by ula_man:Where are the roads due to road conditions, cannot allow the deployment of DD for trunk services?

First, thank you for the list. Comments below.Originally posted by ^tamago^:Roads with buses plying:Jalan Sayang (Kembangan) (MRT - 4.0m)
Roads with restrictions other than height:Rochor Rd/ ECP Slip Rd (Airport-bound) (Steep Road)
Look at number 675 (Lor 6 Toa Payoh Block 192), maximum headroom is 4.4m for a pedestrian overhead bridge.Originally posted by ^tamago^:the full list of roads where there's height restriction can be found here. Note that this list is extensive and many height restrictions are actually more than 4.5m, so it may take a while to read it.
No wonder I find the Overhead Bridge rather low. It doesnt look 4.5m despite the sign saying it so.Originally posted by tranquilice:Look at number 675 (Lor 6 Toa Payoh Block 192), maximum headroom is 4.4m for a pedestrian overhead bridge.
Narrowness and the sharpness of a particular bend near Carpark D.Originally posted by tranquilice:I think Pasir Ris Rd (service 403) is not suitable for DD due to the narrowness of the road.
The one at TPY Swimming Complex? It looks all right to me, but leaves little headroom for DDs.Originally posted by service_238:No wonder I find the Overhead Bridge rather low. It doesnt look 4.5m despite the sign saying it so.
OH yes, the Mk IVs get breathless climbing up that incline.Originally posted by ^tamago^:updated the list..
as for the rochor rd slip rd, if u've boarded svc 36, the single-deck buses seem to have a hard time trying to climb up the head, so i thought it's really a bad idea to get a double-decker to do the climb.. did svc 8 leyland atlanteans climb up from republic boulevard or beach rd?
But in the other direction (ie. going down the slope), it's another story.Originally posted by SBS9818A:OH yes, the Mk IVs get breathless climbing up that incline.
