Suggested used to vacant land to be vacated by Malayan Rail

  If both SIngapore and Malaysian agreed to move the Tanjong Pagar Rail Station to Woodlands, what suggestions you have had for the vacant lands currently occupied by the rail tracks?
  
  I would love to have another rail line plying between Woodlands and Tanjong Pagar, possible?

  If the M'sian govt agree (which I don't think they will) the S'pore govt will dismantle the railway. So IMO, it's best to let it stay as it is or you'll miss seeing/hearing/smelling diesel locomotives in Singapore. I have missed seeing freight trains in Jurong ever since the line was closed.

  Anyone fancy for a feeder rail between Woodlands and Buona Vista using the existing Malayan Rail? That rail would be able to serve Ngee Ann and SIM.
