Choa Chu Kang:
Overall not so much a cashcow, hated by tibs for a reason:dunno why.Needs more services
CASHCOW Svc: 67,190,302,307
(190 might be TIBS most favourite service of all services)
Bukit Batok:
Not very lively, also hated by tibs more than CCK(Seems to be like that). Maybe because quite a number of accidents & deaths occured at the driveway of the interchange
CASHCOW Svc:61,106
Bukit Panjang:
Not much to say...Quite OK for a mini interchange, A large variety of bus models.
CASHCOW:184,700

You forgot all about sv 25, the service with the MOST Super Olympians in service.Originally posted by freakybuses:AMK Int Cashcows: 24 (Airport, Expo), 130 (Kuan Min Shan Temple), 133 sometimes (Suntec City... ), 138 (Zoo), 166 (AMK - WTC - Clementi), 261
Comments: Slightly better than average... but lack of links
AMK Depot Cashcows: 265 (school hrs), 268 (Always crowded in morning, afternoon & evening)
Comments: Natural for depot based svcs to be crowded

Cashcows:8 (Paya Lebar Rd & Ubi during peak)
31 (Katong & Marine Parade on and off)
88 (Pampered school bus service with 13 96xx VOs on it)
90 (PLAB during peak)
139 (to Balestier all the time)
143 (good demand almost everywhere)
145 (to Balestier and Bugis at certain times)
155 (School bus for MSH and CSS from TPY)
238 (BEST demand anytime anywhere
)
Rest are neutral
TPY is quite pampered but not overly pampered with 8 28 31 88 143 getting at least a VSO before. 157 had a VSO once only AFAIK (SBS 9817 C)
Signs of not being overly pampered: Where's th1988?
I can dare say its the most pampered interchange in the central district. Ang Mo Kio being the second and Bishan the third.

Service 188 was introduced in 1998 - 1999 by then SBS as a Choa Chu Kang - World Trade Centre service. Around a year later, it was transferred to TIBS as part of the "package" of exchangings when SBS won the NEL tender.Originally posted by cck_190:A bit off topic: Was 188 made by TIBS or SBS?

Current service 188 was introduced by SBST on Sunday 07 March 1999, which was the same day service 10 was shortened to Kent Ridge. It only operated for 9 months under SBST before handed over to Tibs.Originally posted by off_service:Service 188 was introduced in 1998 - 1999 by then SBS as a Choa Chu Kang - World Trade Centre service. That's such a sad thing...SBS created such a good service...just to see it be given away a few months laterOriginally posted by tranquilice:Current service 188 was introduced by SBST on Sunday 07 March 1999, which was the same day service 10 was shortened to Kent Ridge. I don't see it as 100% good service, it "forced" service 10 out of Clementi.Originally posted by cck_190:That's such a sad thing...SBS created such a good service...just to see it be given away a few months later![]()
If St Michael's was very pampered, SBS would arrange for a new makeover! The terminal is OLD, small, and dirty...Originally posted by SBS9818A:Bishan is not as pampered at St. Mikes. Well, may not be good for you...but good for CCK & BB residents. They get a new service.Originally posted by tranquilice:I don't see it as 100% good service, it "forced" service 10 out of Clementi.
None of these services ever operated from St Michael's. Could have been some Scheme B buses.Originally posted by leeJZ:If St Michael's was very pampered, SBS would arrange for a new makeover! The terminal is OLD, small, and dirty...
BTW off topic but on the topic of St Michael's there are some berths in front of the berths currently used by the services there (21, 124, 131 etc) with numbers like 16, 19, 20 on them...where they used by Sv 16/19/20 etc long time ago?
oops... oyea... svc 25 is a pampered svc... forgot!!!Originally posted by off_service:You forgot all about sv 25, the service with the MOST Super Olympians in service.
Of course, service 10 doesn't pass through the 2 mentioned areas. The residents of both towns got this new service at the inconvenience of Clementi residents. If SBST did not introduce service 188, service 10 now will most probably remain in Clementi.Originally posted by cck_190:Well, may not be good for you...but good for CCK & BB residents. They get a new service.
Obviously, most of CCK & BB residents prefer 188 to service 10.Service 10 is nothing to them, 10 doesn't even pass through BB or CCK![]()
look on the bright side...SBS gave 1 town inconvenience for the enjoyment of 2 townsOriginally posted by tranquilice:Of course, service 10 doesn't pass through the 2 mentioned areas. Could they have made Sv 10 do the following?Originally posted by tranquilice:Of course, service 10 doesn't pass through the 2 mentioned areas.
