You got it almost correct.Originally posted by bendy2003:About earliest first bus, I have a question here, a bit off topic though. I often saw this svc 153 arriving at hg central tem int during the years 1999-2000 at about 6 in the morning. It was in service with pax alighting the bus. When exactly was the first 153 from bukit merah? I thought it couldnt be so early to see it in hg. Or was there a shotworking svc then??
cheers
Generally by 0430 they should reach the depot. 0400 is too earlyOriginally posted by kitoshizc:wah 0500 that means 0400 mus reach depot already I suppose?
Actually where can I know more about what;s happening in the bus depots such as bus assembly or maintenance?
Anyway thanks service_238. Now I know much better..
Yes alot of SBST services start from mid-way at least. Even though SBST153 departs BTM @0600 hrs, there's a Svc 153 bus at Braddell Rd towards HGN at 0610 hrs. I suppose this 153 start from Dunearn Rd, Whitley Rd or even Jln Toa Payoh.Originally posted by bendy2003:About earliest first bus, I have a question here, a bit off topic though. It's not a shortworking service per se. The bus starts service from somewhere in the middle of the route to ensure pax further down don't have to wait long for the bus. I presume its somewhere inside the timesheets.Originally posted by bendy2003:About earliest first bus, I have a question here, a bit off topic though. As for question 1, most EDS come with softwares that enables the bus companies to program the service numbers, routes and graphics.Originally posted by kitoshizc:something new to me.. have u guys wondered
1. for EDS (electronic Displays on front of bus) how do they program the bus nos and destinations?
2. for the driver's ezlink machine, besides updating of fare stages and issuing tickets, what other controls are there for drivers? I'm quite curious about this though...
thanks guys
no... 51 is longer... but then the former 502 is longer than 51... but former 989 longest!!!Originally posted by gynobcard:i think based on the route length svc 518 should be the longest trunk (excl svc 85. Pasir Ris - Marina Centre - Pasir Ris 69 fare stages
