It's possible, but TIBS have an obligation to buy Mercs and SBST Volvos!Originally posted by Superbus:Anyone who watched Japan Hour last Sunday (4th April 2004) will know what I'm talking about.
In one of the segments of a trip to find a hot-spring inn, the host boarded a shuttle bus from the airport. The interesting part is that the bus is low floor or at least looked like one. I presume that the bus is a low floor variant of the Nissan UD or the Hino.
If that bus is indeed a low floor Hino or UD, I guess we have a chance to see them on Singapore roads in future.
Cheers and warm regards
But TIBS does still buy Hinos. The Hino Volgrens were bought quite recently.2000???Originally posted by SBS9818A:It's possible, but TIBS have an obligation to buy Mercs and SBST Volvos!
Remember Hino used to supply buses to TIBS w/o asking for a downpayment when TIBS are short of buses last time.So now it's up to TIBS to return the favours.Originally posted by cck_190:But TIBS does still buy Hinos. The Hino Volgrens were bought quite recently.2000???
