Nice pic. Quite a good ideaOriginally posted by delonchew:I was on my way home earlier when an idea hit me. I was wondering if it is possible to perhaps create a t-shirt or polo tee with the emblem "sgbuses" or something that is related to our forum here so that we can wear it when we go out.
This is what I did when I got home.
What do you guys think of this idea?

Cartoonish bus doesn't seem visually appealing. I'd recommend a generic picture of a double-deck or an artic.Originally posted by off_service:It's very nice. 2 suggestions:
1. Like what FI suggested, make the "buses" more readable.
2. Perhaps add a cute cartoonish bus?
Yes, I agree with you. That would make the logo more attractive .With a pic of a dd or bendy, it would be clearer that we here are bus fans.Originally posted by SBS9818A:Cartoonish bus doesn't seem visually appealing. I'd recommend a generic picture of a double-deck or an artic.
Wait till the bus companies come knocking on your door.Originally posted by SBS9818A:Cartoonish bus doesn't seem visually appealing. I'd recommend a generic picture of a double-deck or an artic.
If the design were to be imprinted on a t-shirt, then the logo on the left chest of the t-shirt and perhaps a bus pic at the back will look fine. But, I was more inclined to developing a logo to make a polo tee, simply because I would prefer wearing polo tees and having a bus pic at the back will make the polo tee look, uhm, not so nice. Having the logo itself on the left chest of the polo tee will present a sleek and casual look.Originally posted by service_238:How abt putting the mentioned logo in front, while the bus pic at the back?![]()
Yeah! I like this design! I'd prefer a small but prominent logo on the upper left chest. Can I place an order now? Say 5 pieces? Size M please!Originally posted by delonchew:If the design were to be imprinted on a t-shirt, then the logo on the left chest of the t-shirt and perhaps a bus pic at the back will look fine. Ahh, the wholesale center!Originally posted by BlessingSatan:Queensway shopping centre is the best place for printing or designing logos on T-shirts.
My suggestion for Mr Off Service, we have a 1015J big desto bus printed for him with his name on the desto, good idea?Originally posted by off_service:Wait till the bus companies come knocking on your door.

I'm think of this, since it's troublesome to have a DD and a bendy to symbolise both companies, why not make our dream "come true", make an "artist impression" of the bendy double deck?Originally posted by SBS9816E:Quite a cool idea! I have thought have a white polo tee + logo. Maybe a small 'cartoon' type of bus with the 'SGBUSES' logo on it would be better.
Cannot la. Must be something familiar and easy to identify with!Originally posted by off_service:I'm think of this, since it's troublesome to have a DD and a bendy to symbolise both companies, why not make our dream "come true", make an "artist impression" of the bendy double deck?![]()
Well, I find that it's rather interesting in that way, than putting something that have been seen in Singapore for ages. Might look a kinda boring if we put something similar.Originally posted by off_service:I'm think of this, since it's troublesome to have a DD and a bendy to symbolise both companies, why not make our dream "come true", make an "artist impression" of the bendy double deck?![]()
I think that we should appoint 1 very professional photographer. Then, he take picture of buses and oso interchanges...he then edit the picture on the computer and do some thing like the main picture on tibs website.Originally posted by Airbus330Captain:I have a suggestion. Let's appoint one photographer and take shots of all the popular buses. Everyone should have a t-shirt with his/her favourite bus(photo from same photographer)printed on the shirt with the sgforums logo just below the photo. Any comments?

Nice idea, but the photographer will have a hard time hunting down the favourite buses of all members.Originally posted by Airbus330Captain:I have a suggestion.
