He mean the junction where SBST195 plys, not TIBS61Originally posted by iamgoondu:Why is it impossible? Cars are able to turn right from C'wealth Dr (T-Junction os Blk 97) into Queenway.
??? I am referring to reverse-route of SBST195 too (not TIBS61). I am referring to the T-junction os Blk 97 Commonwealth Drive (Op Ridout Garden).Originally posted by service_238:He mean the junction where SBST195 plys, not TIBS61

Is it? The last time I passed by there, vehicles from C'wealth Dr (near Ridout Tea Garden) can only turn left into Queensway but not right.Originally posted by iamgoondu:Why is it impossible? Cars are able to turn right from C'wealth Dr (T-Junction os Blk 97) into Queenway.
Currently, CCK int lies @ the center of Choa Chu Kang, which is quite unstrategic if you ask me...Why?My view is.. if you were in charge of managing the land transport system, Singapore would be in disarray.
The town of Choa Chu Kang has expanded towards the North & currently, only 2 services serve CCK north-:302&307. CCK north is kind like a countryside which is not so lively partly because it does not have any trunk service except NR3- which is quite useless.
Therefore, I have come to a conclusion that Choa Chu Kang Interchange should be relocated to the open space beside Yew Tee MRT.
Another idea is that NR3 should be converted into a normal Trunk Service.
WHAT ARE YOUR VIEWS ON THIS?
Only left turn. There are barricades if I'm not mistaken.Originally posted by tranquilice:I don't think right turn is available from C'wealth Dr into Queensway.
My views on what I said earlier have already changedOriginally posted by eclecticity:
Yes, I'm sure there are barricades along the centre divider.Originally posted by SBS9818A:Only left turn. There are barricades if I'm not mistaken.
It's pointless for traffic lights as traffic flow isn't very heavy! Moreover there is a set less than 500m down the road, no?Originally posted by delonchew:I can confirm that there are barricades along the centre divider. Anyway, the road's too wide (and dangerous) for a car to do a right turn without traffic lights. If a driver wishes to turn right, he has to turn left into Queensway then do a U-turn at the Holland Road-Farrer Road junction.
Sorry for wrong information, perhaps the barricades were up only recently due to the construction of Commonwealth/Queensway interchange and the completion of Queenway/Farrer tunnel. I do remember SBST147 do turn into Commonwealth Drive in the eighties.Originally posted by delonchew:I can confirm that there are barricades along the centre divider. The barricades have been there for quite a while! Longer than recently!Originally posted by iamgoondu:Sorry for wrong information, perhaps the barricades were up only recently due to the construction of Commonwealth/Queensway interchange and the completion of Queenway/Farrer tunnel.
