I don't think so, else it won't bought only 2.Originally posted by BlessingSatan:As above after 998 & 999,Well IMO Even if they does they will only purchased a few like maybe 4 to 6 buses and with similiar seating capacity as with the current two articulated buses.Any comments?
Yea I agree with that. Apparently SBST don't see the point in acquiring more articulated buses. I remember SBS then announced that if 998Y trials proved successful, they will go ahead with trials on a new 25-metre long articulated bus, which will make it the longest bus in the world. Too bad it didn't materialise.Originally posted by tranquilice:I don't think so, else it won't bought only 2.
Nothing wrong with that.About 997A i did sent an enquiry to SBST about purchasing more Longbuses and their reply is when they had plans in future.I'm just curious why SBST in the first place bought or built such buses if they said it was unsuccessful,Why don't they just sell off or scrap them.999 no buyer yet ha?Originally posted by Superbus:Yea I agree with that. Also SBS then said that more buses similar to 997A would be put in service. I was tricked into believing that SBS did have 3 such buses, as I have seen on Services 76, 174 and 107. Pardon me for being stupid then.
Cheers and warm regards

Written under the PTC/LTA rule for SBS, Tibs & CSS. How to have a 'world class' public transportation system if the companies buy 2nd hand buses???Originally posted by SBS9845X:why?
It can be done, just buy these buses and rebody and recondition them! Apparently LTA doesn't think likewise, so..Originally posted by cck_190:Written under the PTC/LTA rule for SBS, Tibs & CSS. How to have a 'world class' public transportation system if the companies buy 2nd hand buses???
