Because experienced is better than un-experienced. sad to spoil ur spirits... sbst is known to be very demanding in their expectations and only super experienced or qualified people get the job.
besides there's no such position as route planner...it's just one of the responsibilities of one of the positions.
i have applied a few times for a few executive positions in the hope of getting into the organization but no luck -

If my memory doesn't fail, I once saw a route planner job ad by SBST in Straits Times many years ago, as for now whether there's such a position I'm not very sure. -
