Love them or hate them, we have to live with them. There are 315 (or thereabouts) of them running around. Pick up is slow and the brakes are jerky. Interior is glum. It's not one that I highly regard. Nice to take once in a while but it lacks the special charisma. I never get exicited on a Mark 3. The Mark 4 is also quite 'blahh'. My favourite B10M will always be the Mark 2. Although worn and battered, I still get tingly when I ride them.

On the other end of the spectrum, the MB O405 are the loudest of them all. Scania 113 used to be quiet but now they are loud. DM3500 B10M Mk4 have not reared its ugly head yet. Well, the mk3s aren't that bad as one thinks...Their interior is arguably one of the worst around, but their standard seats are still far better than those found on UK Lances and Volgren 0405s, at least they would not make my butt fry after a long haul. Also, their air cons are also quite strong. And my svc 39 mk3s can speed........and the engine noise is quieter than many TIBS0405s along TPE, esp if one compares the middle seats on the mk3s ( above the mid-engine ) and the last row on the 0405s ( rear engine ).

The mk5s are already 7yrs old for the 27XX series and 28XX series is 4yrs old. Heck, many more mk4s shriek like crazy when they were their age!
Also, HG and BN knows and cares to maintain their mk5s to acceptable standards. The few terrible ones are from SL, in case one had not noticed yet.
