  56 Bishan - TPY was actually extended, while Sv. 58 Bishan - Marina Centre was withdrawn. A lady driver on Sv. 56 has been driving since the Sv. 58 days!

  Svc 850 was withdrawn when the extension to Yishun was completed. Svc 850 plies Yishun to Bt Merah via Newton, Orchard, Raffles Pl, Tg. pagar. Svc 167 actually replaces it.

  How did 167 get from HarborFront to Orchard in the past? Did it use Tg Pagar/New Bridge Rds or Anson/Fullerton Rds?

  Btw, I have done some research at JRL on this topic... btw, all Blue Arrows were killed during this exercise right? So maybe there may not be 37 services killed at least... and anyway, when did the MRT Rationalisation end? 1992 or 1993? 850 was still around until 1992.
  
  Anyway, the best to find out the rationalisation process is to view guides of 1986, 88, 89, 92 & 93 and the MRT guide (published in Aug 1989) right? No '90 guides there.

  In fact, all Paya Lebar Airport routes were affected. I think it was coincidental, SBS then had wanted to get rid of 92 and other PLAB routes for shorter routes serving the nearest EW and NS line bus int.

  There will be 94. Also, PLAB area there, there will be no more bus svs. Many PLAB personnal take 90 to Upp Paya Lebar (Walk across from Airport Road) or Macpherson Road (To svs like 61, 66, 125) That's what I know from my aeromodelling course in 2002 at PLAB.
