Erm... Express 518 is a Scania L94UB SBS2888T.. Not a Volvo B10BLE SBS1688K.Originally posted by Apex-LW'21:BTW, don't forget, SBS1688K also deploys on Employee Bus Services (Svc EB12) as cameo.
Rare scene & unique on EB12!![]()
SBS1688K also serves on Express 518.
SBS1688K served on Express 518 before, in 2003.Originally posted by sBs_boy:Erm... Express 518 is a Scania L94UB SBS2888T.. Not a Volvo B10BLE SBS1688K.

Uhh 1688 used to be BNDEP's bus and they deployed it on Experess 518. Then for some reason Swap 1688 with 2888 which was then HGDEP bus.Originally posted by sBs_boy:Erm... Express 518 is a Scania L94UB SBS2888T.. Not a Volvo B10BLE SBS1688K.

So now 2888 is actually doing the same timing as 1688.
I wonder why they were swapped in the first place ? Is it BNDEP more "spealised" in Scania and HGDEP more "specialised" in Volvo?
BNDEP got 90+% of the Scania in SBSTOriginally posted by Apex-LW'21:BNDEPScania buses
HGDEPVolvo buses
There could be depot transfers before SBS2888T deploys on Svc 518.

juz wondering, wat cam are u using? And do u enhance the pic in anyway after shooting it?Originally posted by SGEMP:Wish everyone Merry Christmas!
How much more off-topic can you get???? If you're bored, start new thread lol!!!Originally posted by SBS1985C:BNDEP got 90+% of the Scania in SBST
Please DO NOT ask me to Do something that I did In SINbus and ask me to do it on SGforums. If you want to move the topic , I gladly ask you to do so. And I was just stating the percentages that Apex-LW'21 did not put in.Originally posted by Donavan:How much more off-topic can you get???? If you're bored, start new thread lol!!!
Or MOVE the thread like what you did in SINBus.

[/Actually, SBS1688K did serve on Sv16 before serving sv36. It was mentioned hereOriginally posted by SBS9816E:*** OFF TOPIC ***
Yes... in fact, SBS1688K started out as a BN bus upon its first appearance in Singapore. It was deployed on Service 36. If you guys could remember, there was a FCUK advertisement on the bus, which aroused many discussion because of the brand name.
Also, SBS2888T was started out as a HG bus. It was deployed on Service 7.
Due to the fact that bus company would rather concentrate on one specific model for ease of maintenance, SBST exchanged the houses for these 2 buses.
History of the 2 buses are as follow:
SBS1688K: 36 --> 518
85 --> 82 --> 84 --> 163
SBS2888T: 7 --> 85
518
BTW, don't forget that SBS2888T also served on Svc 781 from Tampines Int in 1999 (SBS Kranji Turf Club Svcs), remembered taking this bus before to Kranji Turf Club.Originally posted by SBS9816E:*** OFF TOPIC ***
