Yesterday, before and after religous school, i saw 3 or 4 Scania ELBO's on
sv856.After religous school, I went home on 1 of them. I believe it is rare for a Scania on sv856, right? Too bad I didn't have a camera. I'm only 11, by the way. -

It's quite rare nowadays, but I remember a long time ago (several years back), when those buses were still quite new (and have not been turned into air-conditioned buses yet) that I took one of them on route 856 from Sembawang Shopping Centre back to my old home in Yishun. Strange - why is it that both SBS Transit and SMRT seems to be going back to "the good ol' days" recently? First, the B9TL with an old seating arrangement and upper deck rear windows, then it was SBS 2779A (the MK IV DM3500 with EDS) back on it's old perm. route 80, and now, Scania ELBOs on route 856. And I remember taking SBS 2754X (another "special" MK IV DM3500 - this time, with double-plug doors for it's exit doors) earlier on this year's Chinese New Year. What's next - Nissan CAC buses on route 804 (for those who don't know, route 804 was full of the old TIBS Nissan buses a long time ago), TIB 838H on route 171 again, and SBS 997A going back to route 76? -

i've seen scanias on 856 before, not too rare.
the rarest cameo on 856 was one of the 2 volgren bendies, as 851 has (not sure if arrangement is still ard) a crossover every morning for a trip from AMDEP to WDL to YIS. -

2779A on S80 is NOT Rare at all..
