SBS 2663A and some other Striders........

A minority of Striders on the road have this very loud and ear-piercing screeching sound when the bus is moving. Yesterday when i took SBS2663A three times a row, i could observe that the screeching came when the tachometer on the dashboard reads between 15 and 20 (the green section). Every time the needle goes in between 15 and 20, the screeching starts and when the needle goes down when gears are changed, the screeching starts. What is that sound and does it pose a threat to the minority of screeching striders? And btw, SBS2663A, as i have observed, have new seat covers of the same colour (blue). The aircon "holes" have become rounded like those on the SBST 0405s, CAC N113CRBs, etc. Aren't all Mk4s supposed to have aircon "holes" that are rectangular and the a/c can be turned off with a switch. Hope u noe what i toking abt and post ur comments and clear doubts.

I think they went to refurbish SBS2663A partially. Only to the seats, aircon "holes".....

Shit 2663A has hives now. And for those who do not know yet, a fanbelt is the belt driving the radiator fan by the engine. Sooner or later, these engines will overheat.

One thing i noticed about these rectangular ducts is that they're always not on when i'm there. I need to open the duct for the AC to come to me.. dont know which jerk always close it.. Mk5s also..

I'd prefer the ones with shutter like on the Mk 4s and wished it was installed in the Superbus. Good for those who cannot tahan the cold especially at night. Better than aiming the aircon at someone else. I hate it when someone does that. Bus very cold already then aim aircon at me some more! Too Bad they replaced the shutter aircons on SBS2663A to the hives type........will they change the aircon holes on all Mk4s?
I take SBS905R and SBS948S frequently and notice that the shutters are not there and the a/c cannot be turned off. Think they will be replaced with hives soon.
