All the more, bus svc 28 shouldn't spend 5 stages of its route just to get from Tampines Interchange to SAFRA Tampines!Originally posted by TIB1186Z:However, for SBST, the towns that they control lie mainly on the MRT lines. This means that the fastest way to go to city is to bypass all the towns in the process, and as it is a residential area, the there are more traffic lights and pax and school zones. Hence, it gives the impression that SBST is slow and winding.
Yes, i agree.....but there are plenty of other svcs to take wadOriginally posted by foxtrot1985:All the more, bus svc 28 shouldn't spend 5 stages of its route just to get from Tampines Interchange to SAFRA Tampines!

Yup. The acceleration into the second and third gear is very distinct also ( piiiioooooooooooooooourrrrr ) but its much more muted than that for buses and is more bass sounding.Originally posted by Superbus:If I'm not wrong, the Siemens trains as well as the new Kawasaki trains are fitted with ZF gearboxes, which is why these trains have those distinctive sounds as described in earlier posts.
